Hi, it's me... I'm the one that had the poll about to dine for free or to stay cool... lol

I have to say I'm leaning toward staying cool, but haven't decided on whether to buy the DDP or pay OOP, which would mean very little or almost no TS. I was wondering what kind of great deals did you get for November or January or February? What are the pros and cons of these months?

I know the deals change every year, but I'd like some kind of idea. We'd probably do All Star Movies again for at least 8 nights, 2 adults, 2 children.

Thanks! Don't know what I'd do without you guys! ;)

Jan 30-Feb 9/06 - 10 nights CSR standard view, 7 day MYW, P/H plus water parks, no expiry, $2,129.00. (this was the free park hopping and water parks offer)

Edit, oops thought you wanted to know last year. Next time I'll read more carefully. Good luck with your deal.

We just got back from 7 nights at POP, 2 rooms; 5 "adults" (2 parents + 3 teens) on the dining plan, 8 day tickets with hoppers and options, with trip insurance: $3,710.

We had booked the package with AAA, but then a general code came out in late August - early September and our agent applied it which saved us about $550 more. :)

I have 5 nights at Contemporary garden view wing, 5 day tickets and dining plan for early January. Total is $2685 fonr two adults and one child.

I have 7 nights booked thru AAA. with 6 day park hoppers king room.$1540 end of jan

Just back from the World!!! Nov 18-25, 7 nights All Star Sports (standard room location and was given preferred location for free) w/ 6 day MYW w/dining and Park Hopper for $1700. 2 adults and 1 child--9 y/o. I have a Disney Visa Card and original price was $2108, saved like $400 when code came out and didn't even have to switch resorts like alot of other dissers.

Short visit for this January:

18th - 21st at AKL. Dining, park hopping, water park fun & more, airfare, travel insurance, taxes.... EVERYTHING!

$1643

DH and I were at WDW last February - the first weekend I think? First morning met us with TORRENTIAL rain (tornado watches and everything!) but by afternoon and next day it had slowed to a very, very light drizzle. This kept all the crowds away and we walked onto EVERYTHING. Last day of the trip was dry, sunny, beautiful and crowded! (At least by our standards. We have been at the World during some great low season times!)

I was also at the World in September 04' and September 03' both fabulous times, low crowds. A little hot but not horrible. In 04' we were there between hurricanes - best time I have EVER been to a Disney property! Too bad you can't plan that...

Good luck with your trip!
