Hello! I was wondering what type of clothing should I be packing for the 2nd week in March? I have 2 lil ones, 7 and 19 months and I am thinking summer stuff like shorts and tees or jeans and tees? I will have a few sweatshirts and a pair or 2 of capris but I was hoping on bringing mostly sun dresses for the girls! What do you all think??? We're in Pa now where it is FREEZING!!!!! Please let me know if you have been there at this time!!!!~March 7th-14th~!

Here is a website where you can see the actual weather history for Orlando in March:
http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KORL/2008/3/1/MonthlyHistory.html

Scroll down to see the monthly calendar, and you can go back through the years.

It could be warm or it could actually get chilly, especially in the mornings/evenings. You could plan to pack a mix of things but then look at the forecast the day or two before your trip.

Have fun! :)

I would take a little bit of summer and a little winter clothing..we were there the last week of March last year and one day we were in shorts and t's and hanging by the pool and the next day we were buying jacket and sweatshirts (that are WAY overpriced) just to keep warm because we thought for sure that being in FL at the end of March it would not be cold...hahaha we were wrong!!!!

We're taking light jackets and mostly shorts with a couple pair of pants for the evenings.

This is extremely helpful! I'm from Ontario, Canada, where it was -25 with the windchill today - as long as it's above 0, I'll be happy. :)

I would closely monitor the weather just before you leave and pack accordingly. The temps last week in Orlando were in the 20's at night so you just never know. I would be prepared for a little of everything.

Thanks for this information, some of our friends are going for a trip on that month. I hope they will totally enjoy their vacation.

Have a nice day to all. :)

We went last year in mid February with a 9 month old and I ended up needing to dress her in layers because the mornings could be pretty chilly, but it would get hot by midday. So one day, for instance, she wore a little dress with a sweater and babylegs that we took off later in the day. I could probably have kept her in long pants and a light long sleeve shirt, but we're from MN and the opportunity to wear summery clothes in February cannot be missed! :)

We will be there the same week as the OP. I cant wait:cool1:
We have been in Nov, and Dec and wore shorts most of the time. We also went in Jan last year and while I never put shorts on, DD did- and was cold at times. I was hoping that March would be warm like our Nov and Dec trips. I am having a hard time picking what to pack also. I dont want to take too much and will probably be washing:laundy: at least once while we are there. I hate to do that, but I dont want to take everything we own either.

So funny! We were there last January too! We must be on the same schedule! We were there the 18th ~28th and we packed all sweats suits and I had to wear the same pair of shorts all week!!!! I want to take a little as possible and plan to do wash! Are you going to be wearing you LGMH? Maybe we will bump into each other on the monorail! Were staying at the GF:wave2:
