I'm interested in purchasing a new phone...

I've had different models of Nokia's for the past 10 years - so I'm unfamiliar with any other brands.

Please tell me what brand of phone you have and - more importantly - if you would NOT recommend them to someone else!!

(I'm with AT&T - and these are the types I see for sale on their website)

Thanks!

A 3 year old Nokia. Works for me though....:D

I've had two different Samsungs and love them both. My sister has Samsung as well and no complaints from her either. Both old phones worked at least 2 years and never caused a problem. I just got a new one because I wanted it :teeth:

I'm on my 8th or 9th phone at this point--I've had a cell phone for eight years now. I've had Motorola's and Nokias for the most part. They're about teh same, the Motorola quality is maybe a little better. Ii'm really hard on them--drop them, break off the antenna, snap off the flip piece, pop off the buttons, you name it, I've probably done it.

The Motorola I have now seems to be holding up the best, I got it from Verizon, adn I like that the antenna doesn't pull out. Ah well, it was only about $40 if I do kill it, at that price it's disposable.

BTW--if your old phone still works, most communities will take it and reprogram it to only call 9-1-1, and give it to crossing guards, domestic violence victims, seniors with no home phone, etc.

Er, the free one from Sprint PCS. I think it's Qualcomm? Or at least that's what the side of my phone says!

I ahve a Samsung :) It wokred fine until I dropped it 4 times... it still works pretty good but sometimes turns itself off if I hit a button weird

Another Samsung here. A little flip-phone. I've liked it, but I've had it about two years and I think it's starting to show its age. Sometimes when I'm talking to someone, the audio will "skip" -- it sounds as though I'm losing the signal, even though I might be standing in one place with a full signal icon. I think the "speaker" might be dying on me. Guess it's about time for a new phone!

I've had a Samsung from Sprintpcs for about 3 years and have had no problems with it.

No kind. :D DH has a Sprint PCS though. I like being unreachable sometimes.;)

Motorola and another user of the T-Mobile family plan. We love it!

I have a Samsung phone (service through T-Mobile), and so far I have no complaints. I just got the phone last month, so I really haven't used the phone on a long-term basis, but so far things are working out well!

DW and I both have the Motorola (V60i -vulcan). It is a great phone and easy to use. Our service is with Alltell......great reception anywhere in the USA that has cell sites.

For a while DH and I both had the little Nokia (the ones for about $100-$150). When my phone broke, I didn't want to spend $150, so I got the motorola for about $30-40. I love it! It has held up well so far, and it's a little bigger than my old Nokia, which I really like. DH, on the other hand, had to have the $150 Nokia again. Says he'd brake the antenna.

Our sevice is through AT&T and we like it. :)

We have motorola phones with Nextel. We just left Cingular which was terrible!
