What kind of car rental rates are you getting for Oct.???

Hey!
I know there aren't any specials out right now, but I was just wondering if anyone had any great rates booked for Oct yet?

I have a ressie w/ Alamo for my travel dates of 10/16-10/26. It is a midsize SUV and is about $360 total. YIKES! I will definitely keep checking prices, and now Alamo has been sending me their "Hot Deals" email when the new rates come out...

Just wondering who has a great rate already!

i have a standard size suv booked sept 30-oct 8 with alamo for 228.52. try using rate code by, id# 430710 and coupon code d24c. good luck!!

I have 9 days with Alamo for $138. using the Walmart code and the Alamo $25. coupon. I booked it back in early Feb.

I have 10/14 thru 10/20 with National...EA using American Express code and $20 coupon from Entertainment for $153 total.

My rate with National with Emerald Aisle level of service for an Intermediate for Oct 21 at 10:30a to Oct 29 at 1:00p (9 days total) with a $20 coupon is $245.

I think it's pretty high but it's the best I've been able to get so far. I check at least once a week and right now that same reservation would be $305.

Rates are still high for October. Using National, Amex 5125601 and Ent Code $20 coupon, I show $166.95 for a 7 day compact rental 10/28 to 11/4, and $183.33 for an Intermediate for the same time frame.
Back in March I found Alamo mid SUV using 675899 and DU3B 206.35 for 10/28 to 11/4.

May use ME to avoid such high rental rates.

We used a Costco code and coupon. Budget rental for 8 days 10-20 through 10-28. Getting a standard (Mustang). Total with tax is just over $191.

I thought this was pretty good! The Mustang was the cincher!
