What kind of car do all of us DVCer's drive?

I have always gotten the new car and DH receives my 'cast-offs' until our last car purchase. I was simply unwilling to give up my loaded 2003 4WD Ford Escape Limited. This is absolutely the best car I have ever had.

DH has a 2008 AWD Ford Edge. We purchased with the intent that at some point we will be driving to WDW. Has a nice ride to it and a heavy feel.

Undoubtedly our next car purchase will be to replace my car at which time I will most certainly have another Escape.

We own a 2002 GMC Envoy, 2002 Ford Explorer, and a 1995 Buick Park Avenue (DW Postal Car)... All are paid off and all run great... DW is putting on the full court press for either a Town and Country or a Suburban, but as for now, I have managed to beat the press...

I guess I am in love with no car payment!

I have an 08 Ford Mustang Convertible which I will likely trade in next year for a Fusion Hybrid. DH has an 09 Ford Fusion which he loves.

These are the exact same two vehicles I am looking to purchase in the next 3-4 months ! I am leaning toward the Edge (AWD) but just not sure yet. Nice to know you give them both a thumb's up :thumbsup2

We are in desperate need of 2 new cars. We currently have 2 mini vans which have both been very dependable with few issues until the last year or so. I still love our '93 Honda Odyssey which now has 117,000 miles. Our Silhouette mini van is a '91 with 140,000 miles. We like having the room to carry extra passengers and love the extra trunk space that mini vans provide. Although we have enjoyed our minivans, we are ready for a change. We will most likely purchase a Honda Pilot in a few months and a ?? next year prior to DD learning to drive.

My 1998 Saturn SW has 150,000 miles on it and I love it!

Ford Explorer (with the 3rd row seats) and a Ford Escape--love them both! We're not die-hard Ford fans. We happened to buy when they were offering 0% interest.

We also have always had a van. We own a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country. We love the mini van for traveling, which we do alot. I will be getting a new car this year and I am looking at the Buick Enclave, I love it, but I also love the Cadillac Suv and the Mercedes. Disney husband drives an Infiniti G35. It is all wheel drive which he loves for the winter. I have had a van (chyrsler) since 1995. I do love them for the room, but I want something different. Our kids still come with us, but probably by next year they both will be flying (we hope):rotfl2: This time I will be test driving cars, for the first time since 1995. Good luck to you in whatever you purchase.

She just can't make up her mind about what kind of car she wantsor likes. We've gone to dealers and driven a Ford Fusion, Chevy Malibu, Toyota Prius, Volkswagen Jetta, and Honda Accord.
We love our Prius. Love love love it. Surprising room in the interior. The handling is a little soft, but not horrible. Fair power (thanks to the hybrid engine.) Fabulous mileage. Right now, it's pulling about 47mpg.

I still love our '93 Honda Odyssey which now has 117,000 miles
Wow, that's low! My '01 has 121K.

GMC Denallis for everyday(DH and me), Jag XJR for weekends in spring/summer.

My wife might be the only person on the planet who doesn't like the Honda Odessey, we have had it for three years, no problems at all, she just doesn't like the way it drives, so I just recently bought her a Lexus GX470, she loves it, so now I drive the Honda.

I have an '07 Chevy Aveo. The sedan, not the hatchback. It is a small car, but no kids so it works great for me! And great gas mileage too. :thumbsup2 I was thing about getting something bigger this year but I couldn't make up my mind ether, so I purchased DVC instead :rotfl:

:) DH: 2009 Jeep Wrangler Manual transmission with canvas top. Cute and cheap....according to DH.....We traded in my 05 Toyota Solara, which I loved, loved , loved....but they do not make them any more:sad2:

So when DH got the Jeep, I started driving his 08 Hummer H3....which was his choice of cars.

I was pretty bent about not getting the new car when we traded my Solara in...hmmmm....we bought 210 points at AKV the following week.

I mean The DH is spoiled (no kids) Jeep Wrangler and Hummer...:drive:

So I am hoping to get a cross over or smaller SUV next year.

We love the mini van for traveling, which we do alot. I will be getting a new car this year and I am looking at the Buick Enclave, I love it...

We just got an Enclave last week and LOVE IT! It replaced our Honda Pilot and I must say we enjoyed that one, but (repetitive here) LOVE THE BUICK!

Never thought of Buick as a brand to buy, but we were looking for a 3 row nice vehicle and lo and behold what do we get introduced to coming off of Fast Track on our last trip to Disney??? The Enclave. lol - we're the youngest Buick owners we know around here, but I'd say this ain't your grandpa's Buick!

Good luck shopping!

I love my '06 Chevy Trailblazer Extended (3rd row seating) and my wife HATES her Suzuki Areo AWD. My parents bought a loaded Ford Fusion last summer and they love it!

FWIW, I used to fly to Florida... but since I got my 2007 Prius I drive down.
