What kind of car do all of us DVCer's drive?

We live on a dirt road so we don't usually have cars. We currently have 2004 Ford Explorer 4x4 and 2007 Ford F150. We've had very good luck with our Fords .

Nothing could make me buy a Toyota. No way.

I drive a 2008 Dodge Charger. Inferno red, hemi engine. Love it!

My husband drives a 2007 F350 4x4 extended cab truck (diesel), my college aged daughter drives a 2008 Hyundai Tuscan and I drive a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. My youngest turns 16 this summer and we are in the process of looking for another car for her. We are leaning towards another Hyundai Elantra.

I have a Honda CRV, which I have really enjoyed. Hondas tend to be super reliable, so that's a big plus in my book.

DH just got a new vehicle 2 weeks ago--a Nissan Rogue. He loves it so far, and it handles really well.

I guess we've got a think for small SUVs! ;)

Okay, so I'm wondering how we got away with this thread considering it isn't really DVC related? I wasn't so lucky with my Disney weapons of distruction thread.

Disney weapons of destruction? :confused3

2003 Ford Expedition

2005 Cadillac SRX

LOVE them both.

I like your style! We have a Ford Expedition and a Cadillac Deville. Both 1998s but in great shape (the Deville only has 60,000 miles on it) and hope to have them for years to come. We are both "big boned" and like the elbow room! :lmao:

We don't own a car, although we use PhillyCarShare about once a month. We get around on foot, bike, bus, and rail.

DWD? :scared1: I am afraid to ask. :rotfl:

As for this thread, DVC owners tend to do their research and plan quite a bit more so than the general public. We're a unique (but large) group.

It can also be argued that our vehicles are important parts of the DVC experience.
Some ways we use our vehicles in DVC related activities:

- Drive to/from a DVC stay
- Drive to/from the airport for a DVC stay ;)
- Pack the vehicle to the brim with DVC essentials
- Miss the phone call from our guide because we're driving
- Corner our spouse in the vehicle and demand an add-on
- Drive to the post office to mail off our add-on papers

i've got an 07 Chevy Trailblazer SS. Love this SUV! i call it my corvette hiding in an SUV body so i can take my kids with me.

I have an 07 Hyundai Sonata V6. I love the car. It drives and handels well, and rides well also. It also had great safety ratings, and is very roomy (and nice) inside. I bought it with 5K miles on it two years ago; it now has 55K. I will drive it until it dies...

My Dad has an Altima, and I love that car as well. In fact, I would probably purchase an Altima next time (the seats are slightly more comfortale; the Sonata's headrest is not-quite-right to me)...but would be just as happy with another Sonata

BTW, i loved the DWD thread. i really don't know why they decided to close it. well, ok i do but i think this board is different from the other ones here. I got quite a few laughs at that one.!

'09 Infiniti FX35 :thumbsup2 Love it!

For a mid-sized SUV be warned however. It is more "sport" than "utility" even with the back seats folded down.

However it is my baby....

Decided I would join this thread because I love cars

Me: 2002 vette convertable, a blast to drive, summer car
2008 ford excursion, winter car
DGF: 2004 Honda Pilot, 120k, she loves it
DD: 23,2006 Suzuki Aero, she loves it. ????
DS:21, 2007 Pontiac G6, coupe, he loves it.
DD: 19, 2005 Orange Volkswagon super beetle, 220k, never been in the shop
DD: 17, 2005 Mustang, 110k

I have a 90% 67 427 vette that is 90% restored, but Since I work to 2 FT jobs it will be a couple of more years it will get finished. All my kids are ft students(college) with jobs so they pay their own way(cars, that is.)

Would love to have a 2010 vette but can not scrape the 80k together right now.

Fun thread,

Jack

We have a 08 Toyota Sienna fully loaded. LUV IT!!!! This is our 4th van in a 21 year marriage and IT IS OUR FAVE!!!! We had Chrysler/Dodge before. Matter of fact we traded our 2007 Chrysler Town and Country a year after having it. LUV the SIENNA!!! We bought our dd a 2008 Toyota Sports Corolla and WE LOVE IT TOO. :lmao: She can't have her car her first year at college so WE DRIVE IT FOR HER from time to time. ;)

Love my Ford Freestyle (Taurus X), but unfortunately, they did away with them this year. Looks like my next vehicle will be a Flex.

I like ours too. When it dies, I think we're going to look at a Subaru Forester.

We also have a Ford F350 for DH, and a 15 year old Subaru Impreza wagon for my commuter car. DH also has a scooter for his 1.5 mile commute. It's nice to only fill it up once or twice a summer ;)

We're not a lot of help because we're Saturn loyalists here ... my bil was one of their first employees and it kills the family that Saturn is no more! Dh and I both drive and love our '07 Saturns -- his is an Ion Quad Coupe and mine is a VUE (which should be making its first foray to WDW next May!). Not sure what we're gonna do when it's time for new cars!:sad1:
