We drive a Toyota Corolla. We like it, more so before we had a baby. She comes with a lot of gear, so space is a little tight now.

We were looking at either getting a 2nd car, re-doing our kitchen or DVC last summer. DVC won out. Obviously we're comfortable enough in our Corolla

It gets great mileage, smooth ride and we can still fit her stroller in the trunk with room to spare. The back seat isn't bad for adults although its a little too cramped with her car seat in it.

I drive a 07 Chrysler Town and Country - 3 Dodge minivans before this (tried an Intrepid for awhile in between but missed the minivan) - absolutely love it. DH just bought a new Nissan Rouge - it's a crossover and gets great gas mileage which he needed for work. He's very happy with it. We even drove it to WDW last month - very comfy.

I have a Nissan Murano. I've had it 2 1/2 years and so for so good. I tend to really like everyother car that I get. and I usually get the itch for a new one in the summer time go figure.

DH has a Chevy Avalanche. it is his Big Boy Toy. When we drive to WDW we take the avalanche. good on the road, lots of room to bring home tangible memories from our trips. the bad thing is that it is not easy to park around town, so we tend to use the Murano for shopping trips, etc.

Isn't it fun shopping for a new car?? Enjoy.

I'm on my second Chrysler Sebring convertible. I know, Chrysler, right? They've always done right by me. I love these cars. They look good and they drive great. I'm a believer!

ita on Chrysler, we've done well with them too Got a 2006 Pacifica which is what we need for our family road trips to the World & anywhere else we may roam and 2003 VW Jetta.

2010 Escalade (Me) and a 2010 Malibu (DW)....the Malibu is a great car and my DW loves it!.....lots of room, great gas milage and exceleration with the 4 cyl, 5 star safety rating, onstar, and most of all the best warranty in the business.....doesn't hurt that it's made in North America either.....that would be my choice

I love our Mazda3 (zoom zoom!) - great on gas, plenty of cup holders, EXCEPT it's not AWD, which our Subaru Outback was (which we also loved). Didn't get a Toyota because our local dealer had the gall to give us a starting price of $2,000 ABOVE sticker! Walked out & never looked back.

I was determined to buy a Camry in 2006 until the salesperson who greeted us wouldn't talk to me and when I asked a question, he would answer my husband. You know, the man. (And the man who was 1. not paying for the car 2. not driving the car 3. not interested in the car, just along for the ride.) Buh-bye, Toyota.

Then I went to the Honda dealership and drove an Accord...eh, it's a nice car, but I didn't love it. I went inside to talk price and mentioned that I was also interested in the Passat. The salesman pulled out Consumer Reports and read me the entry about the Passat. That backfired because it made me all the more interested - I went right to the VW dealer, drove a Passat, LOVED it and then got them to sell it to me for less than the Accord price I'd been quoted (which was way under sticker, and the Accord sticker was lower than the Passat sticker).

Jeep Liberty. 4-wheel drive is necessary to get around in the winter. Fun to drive.

I drive a 2006 Passat and it's the first car I've ever owned that I've really loved!

Mine is an '07. I'm with you. It's a great car! I wish my wife would consider buying one but she says that she doesn't want to have the same car as me.

I have had quite a history with cars, but right now it's a boring time...

Currently my wife drives a Honda Accord. She won't buy another simply because we want to buy American.

I drive the most basic model of Saturn ever built --> A 1995 straight Saturn SL, with manual transmission, and no power steering. My wife has trouble driving this car because of the lack of power steering.
I love it, and will drive it forever. If I take my eye off of it for five minutes, my wife would probably drive it to the junkyard.

I agree with Spiceycat-Hondas are great! I drive a 2006 Odyssey(with the Disney family and DVC member stickers on it) the hubby drives a 2002 Honda CRV. Can't say enough great things about Honda-wouldn't drive anything else(and I was born and raised in Detroit!)

We drove our brand new 2010 Subaru Forester from PA to WDW in early March. I absolutely love this car. We had a nice comfortable ride down to FL.

I just bought a Nissan Altima a little over a month ago. I LOVE it! <snip>

BTW--I was going to get a Toyota Camry but worried about the problems they are having. Then I was going to get a Honda Accord, but I don't like the interior. These are the two cars I had been looking at for the last 2-3 years. I never thought about getting a Nissan. I just decided one day to drive into the lot and look at them, and I bought on the spot! I've never done that!!!

I did almost the same as you - I compared the Altima, Accord and Camry. I test drove all 3, hated the slimy sales approach at Honda. That narrowed it down to 2.

I was not all that impressed by the Camry the first time driven, and like you had my mind set on the Altima - basically for the cool remote . I gave it a couple days and did a 2nd test drive on the Altima and, although I wanted to buy the nissan right there, I forced myself to go back for another test drive of the Camry. I'm glad I did. On the 2nd drive the Camry felt amazing compared to the Altima (it was a snowy day and in New England my car has to perform well on ice).

I have had my '08 V6 Camry for over 2 years now and love it. I have never had an issue with the brakes or acceleration. My only regrets: there are times I wish I still had an SUV for packing things into it and I do wish I had given the hybrid a look.

Per family who own VWs: They're great cars, do be aware the repair bills, when the car comes in need, will be on the high side & make sure your dealer/garage is close. My uncle loved his but the fact that he had to travel to the other side of orlando for every fix got to him and he traded in for another make.

Ford Fusion - Nice American car with great reviews

Chevy Malibu - RUN AWAY!! As fast as you can!! Don't look back!! STAY AWAY!!

Toyota Prius - Smaller than the others, great on gas

Volkswagen Jetta - Nice solid car

Honda Accord - The best car of the bunch. Unless you definitely want an American (owned), car go with this one


These are all my opinion, however they are strong opinions

We have Dodge Durango but are looking to trading into either a Ford Edge or Honda Pilot

I love my 2005 Mini Cooper, it's like driving a go-cart around...very responsive, good gas mileage (30mpg), and with the rear seats folded down, it will hold an amazing amount of stuff.

I have a standard shift 2005 Audi A4 AWD Turbo. I love this car!! It gets great gas mileage and I have had no maintenance issues.

DH has a Ford F-150 and his mom has a Ford Fusion and really likes it. It is a sharp car.

My husband is starting to think about a new car and says he doesn't know what he'll get. I keep telling him I know exactly what he'll get. A 2006 Passat.

(But seriously, I think he'll get the new car this time. I'd love for him to get a VW CC or an Audi A4.)
