What kind of AP rates have you gotten for Dec. this year?

Hi to all! Just wondering if anyone would mind sharing with me the AP rate they have gotten anywhere for Dec? We will be there 12th-18th;booked a package. Just wondering if it was worth renewing my DVC discount AP and booking that way? Thanks for the answers! Angel

Well you can't book a package with an AP code but here are the room only rates courtesy of Mousesavers:

Check-in dates: 9/30/07-12/23/07. Very limited availability for many dates; some blackout dates apply. Book by 12/23/07. Use code FEX. With this new code, your stay will be priced on a day-by-day basis -- if some of your stay is in Value season and some in Holiday season, you will pay two different rates.

Sample rates for Value season:

Value resorts: $59 plus tax Standard view
Moderate resorts: $105 plus tax Standard view
Animal Kingdom Lodge: $145 plus tax Standard view
Saratoga Springs Resort: $164 plus tax Studio
Other resorts and room types are available
Sample rates for Regular season:

Value resorts: $79 plus tax Standard view
Moderate resorts: $124 plus tax Standard view
Animal Kingdom Lodge: $185 plus tax Standard view

There may be something else coming out today for December, those room only discounts are not up on the passholder site now. They have been taken down sometime between 10pm last night and a few min ago. I'll be checking back all day and I'll let u know if something else posts for AP holders.

Just a couple more questions... Can I move the $ on the package booking to a room only AP booking? Or do I have to cancel and then rebook? And,to book an AP-I just have to show it at check in correct? So if I order a DVC AP today then I just show them my exchange certificate at checkin? Thanks for all your help!! Angel

Yikes. Thanks for the tip. I was on the AP site this AM (checking for Feb) and didn't notice that! Could this mean that rates past Dec may be released soon?

I was on the AP site tonight and didn't notice any changes. Our Dec. 19-27 trip ended up being a good bit cheaper booking with a AAA discount than with the AP, since the AAA rate is based on our rate on the day of check-in which is out-of-season. However, I was hoping to add another room for a relative and the really good AAA rate we got is no longer available. The AAA rate that is available is still better than the overall AP rate but only slightly so.
