I see on Deb's menu site that it says "NOTE: ALTERNATIVE CHILDREN'S SELECTIONS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST"
Does anyone know what these selections are? My son is very picky and really just liked chicken nuggets and stuff. Are these available on request? TWe really would like to go back to 'Ohana this trip. Thanks!

Our DS6 is terribly fussy too - last year all he'd eat was grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza and PB sandwich (no jelly).

Our server at 'Ohana told us they could get him nuggets, PB or a grilled cheese. It was no trouble at all and he enjoyed it :)

(this year he will no longer eat grilled cheese - grrr....)

Excellent! I guess they jus have someone run down to captain cooks and get it! Great to know! Thank you!

We have the same problem with our youngest. When we went to Boma, we just asked for chicken nuggets, and they gave us a plate with 7-8 strips (I think he stole it from Mara, LOL).

Same thing with Ohana, although DS loves the turkey. We just tell him it's chicken steak, and he'll eat tons of it.

Actually Ive believe they get the kids meals at the Kona Cafe. Some of the options we were given were grilled cheese, macaroni & cheese, hot dogs, and chicken fingers(not nuggets). There may have been more that I cant remember.
At any rate, my extremely picky kids really enjoyed their experience there. They have always enjoyed the food at the Kona(one of the few places they actually eat their meals) and they enjoyed it at Ohana too.
Enjoy!

No need to run to Captain Cooks since Kona Cafe's kids menu is available at O'Hana's. (i think they might even share the same kitchen). You can check out their kid's menu selections here KONA CAFE KID'S MENU

DD always gets a grilled cheese:p Unfortunately as far as O'hana's goes, we can't get her to go for that "it's chicken" LOL, we've tried oh yes we've tried LOL!! Although she does like the rice.

If you get a kids meal make sure you don't get charged the" table food" price. I think the kids meals are $5. Once the waiter charged us as if the kids were eating the regular food. Be sure to check your bill before you pay it.
