I would love to know about your experience at one of the Kids Clubs. Which one has been your kids favorite and why? Is it worth the expense, we will have 3 children with us on this summer's trip? My oldest son is 9 1/2, will he be bored or do they keep the older ones entertained also? Thank you for all your input:)

:wave2: E. I have heard many people like the Neverland Club at the Poly.

My kids went to the Neverland Club when they were 9 and 11 and loved it. My DD still talks about it and wants to go back, but by the time we take our next trip our DS will be 13 and too old! They had dinner, watched a movie, did arts and crafts, and played video games. There was plenty to do for all ages.

We used Simbas Cubhouse(AKL) last year TWICE and plan on using it again this year. We chose Simbas b/c that's the one I found the most good reviews on when searching. DD(who isn't used to being separated from us much) LOVED it! The CM's were extremely nice and great with the kids. The first time there was planned, but she loved it so much that we took her back later in the week while we ate at Boma. She had such a great time both times and didn't want to leave. I can't say anything about the Neverland Club, but we loved Simba's Cubhouse(we were staying at POR).

Another thing I must say is that its set up in a way that the kids can't just walk out of the area. So...we took our pager and had a great time with no worries. We even called them directly the first time to check on her and they said she was doing great!:)

Last trip we stayed at AKV and we had planned for the kids to be at Simba's on three nights. We arrived on a Friday and we had planned for a dinner at Boma while they went to Simba's. We figured if they had a problem we would be close by and could get them.

They LOVED   Simbas. We would picked them up and they did not want to leave. :confused3 :rotfl:

We had reserved two other stays for them on Wednesday and Thursday night so DW and I could go to EPCOT and California Grill. If the first stay had not gone well we would have canceled these other reservations.

Our last night we had planned a family dinner but the kids overruled us since they BEGGED to go back to Simba's. It was expensive but we are on vacation and the point is for everyone to have fun. :thumbsup2

Simba's is now on our must do list. We canceled going to the Princess and Pirates Party to save money. The kids enjoyed Simba's more than they would have PPP. It's a good break for them from the parks and from US. :rotfl2:

We would go to the parks as early as possible using EMH. The kids would get tired after 4-6 hours so we would go back to to AKV. Sometimes they would nap. Sometimes not. Usually they would hit the pool then it was time to get showered, dressed and off to Simba's by 4:30 or 5:00.

The kids were almost 5 and almost 8.

Simba's has a buzzer on the door so the CM's know when someone arrives or leaves. They have a little "rope" to get keep adults on one side. The kids seem to respect the rope. There were at least 2 CMs every night. I don't think they had more then 8-10 kids on the busy night and then there were more CMs. The price does include dinners and snacks for the kids.

DD did the Neverland club when she was 5. She loved it. They did crafts, watched movies, ate dinner, played... I love how they enter and how it was set up.

She went to the Beach Club when she was 7 (I cannot think of the name of theirs...) and liked it more. They had video games, arcade type games, bingo, dinner, etc. So now that is her favorite because of the video games. So I would recommend that one for older kids and Neverland for younger kids.

My sister and I used to stay at the Neverland Club when we were younger and I remember LOVING it! Crawling through the window was the coolest to me :)

Thank you for your replies. I just got a quote from Kids night out which would be 19 an hour to come to our place, which would be cheaper, but we may try both an see what they like best. Anyone else have favorites for the older kids??? My son is a video game or sports man, not so much into crafts like my girls. Thanks:yay:
