How long was your stay?
How far did you travel?
Why?

I think my shortest stay was about 4 days. I was a HS senior and went to FL with my friend to visit her dad in Pompono Beach. We spent a few days there and then went to WDW. We flew from NJ. I think we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott.

1. Our shortest stay was this past December 5 nights.
2. We are from Kansas City, MO
3. Because we are squeezing as many trips out of our AP as possible, wanted to go someplace warm when it's cold here, and wanted to see DW at Christmas - what a treat!!! :flower:

Our shortest stay was this past September. Only 4 days (3 nights). We came from Kansas and brought our 4 year old grandson. We made it short because we didn't want him to get homesick....we could have stayed two weeks and he wouldn't have wanted to come back home. He LOVED the whole trip and is always asking when we can go back. We just got back from a 5 day trip and we are planning a trip for December for 3-4 days. The short trips are fun but I also look forward to a nice long trip again soon.

I ran away from home a few weeks ago. Left the west coast 11pm Friday, arrived 6am Saturday am. Flew on to work location Monday around noon.

Total 2.5 days. Stayed POFQ. Mainly visited Epcot. Weather nice and cold so was out all day until 9pm.

Total miles flown to reach WDW for 2 days about 5,000! Do I win?? :rotfl:

And by the way, nobody realized that I ran away for two days!

our shortest trip was 3 nights, and we'll never do that again....drove from ohio. next trip we flew and it was 10 nights and i liked that a lot better!

OK, I'll admit that the 2 day trip was using up the last few days on the AP. I think that I counted 68 days on that AP in one year!!!

16 days in December, along with lots of 7+ day trips, so the 2 day trip was fine.

I went on a whim, encouraged by several people on this board who exerted their bad influence on me and shooed me out of my office onto a plane! I got the urge Thursday, booked the flight Friday afternoon, and got on the plane Friday night! How's that for spur of the moment??

I did do a 2 day trip about 3 years ago in December. It was a 'mileage run' to get enough points to keep my airline status. I stayed offsite for free and didn't have a pass, just went to DTD for 2 days. Then I flew to LA and did 7 days in DL, so that trip didn't feel short!

5 nights Sept 2002 at ASMU with a friend for a quick get away! It was planed only 2 weeks in advance it was great!

Shortest trip was a weekend, less than 48 hours, my first solo trip, which DH surprised me with as "Mom's weekend". I flew about 1300 miles, arriving after midnite Friday, and going home after breakfast on Sunday. It was my first solo trip and he wasn't too sure how I'd like it solo. Since then I've gone solo 5 or 6 more times, usually 4-6 nights. He's figured out how much I like it!

We've done a couple of 4 and 5 day trips in early Dec to see the Christmas decorations and see Disney at Christmas!!! It was WONDERFUL!!!! At that time of year, its OK to only have a few days to visit - we got to see everything we wanted, without feeling too rushed. (We like to save our longer visits for summer!)

For the shorter visits, we fly from New Orleans - flight is only about 1.5 hrs!
For our longer visits, we drive down - about a 10 hr drive!

Our shortest trip was in March 2003 - just 4 nights. Flew down from Cleveland Weds night & flew home Sunday. It was a second trip on our AP's & a short trip for us to spend some quality time together before hubby went away for 4 months for military training. It was still a great trip - but, we do really enjoy longer stays much better. :)

Our shortest was in Oct 2004. Baby couldn't go. We flew 2 children and ourselves to csr and went to Mk 2 days in a row and flew home. Super fun and didn't feel cheated!

Why? Flight from Huntsville was $88 each, CSR rate was $77 a night. Super cheap!

About 24 hours.Arrived at POP to check in for the night, got the bus to MK,got there about 1PM stayed till close.Got up,went to DTD,shopped for a while had lunch then left for home.We drove down from Ontario.

Not counting a single day trip to the MK before we fell in love with WDW, our shortest trip was 2 nights/3 days in Feb 2001. We had been in March and October 2000, but were going back to Florida (Tampa area) in Feb 2001 to visit relatives. Even though we had been to WDW twice in the previous year, I couldn't go to Florida and not go to WDW, so we slipped this short trip in.

Our shortest trips were before/after cruises. Two nights at AKL after an Oct. 2002 cruise, two nights at WLV before a Dec. 2003 cruise, 3 nights at SSR after our Dec. 2004 cruise. All because we had APs. The shortest trip with WDW as the sole destination was last October for five nights for F&W. DD had a four day weekend off school, so we took an extra day. That was one of the best!

I flew further, but you were on the road much longer!!!!! :sad2:

I'm planning a trip right now for myself, my wife, and my two year old daughter for 3 nights, and we'll probably only spend 2 days in the parks. We were looking for a quick, long weekend type trip that we could do with our daughter and Disney just seemed right. I don't know that she'll appreciate much at her age, but then again, she'l impressed with everything, so it could be pretty funny.

We did a weekend at the World. It was a surprise for my husband's birthday. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday. So, 2 nights. We flew, about an hour and 15 minute flight. We live in NC. It was a preview weekend for AP holders for Rock n' Rollercoaster. We had a blast!!!! Rode it over and over, then rode TOT. Then, got motion sick for about an hour or so. (that part not so fun). We stayed at Coronado Springs. Had a blast - husband loved the surprise!

:Pinkbounc Our very first trip was a one day visit. We drove from Coral Gables Florida to Orlando, spent the day and then drove back that night. It wasn't that hard to do considerinig there was only ONE park at the time! :rotfl2:
