What is your section called of the city you live in

J-town, short for Jeffersontown. Because those 2 extra syllables are just too much.

We used to live in J-Town - I am so used to calling it that, that when someone refers to it as Jeffersontown, I have to do a double take to think about where they are talking about.

Now we live in Middletown.
