Since our September trip to the Beach Club wasn't planned, we don't feel like we have to spend a lot of time at the parks. We hope to have a nice mix of relaxation and rides. That said, would you go to the pool in the morning and then head to the parks or go to the parks first thing and then come back for an afternoon swim? We are hoping for a (fairly) peaceful SAB experience. Thanks! :flower:

We will also be at the BCV in September and I think we will head out to the parks in the morning and relax in the pool during the afternoon. I think it is still pretty hot in September so the pool might be a good choice in the afternoon.

Also after the pool we can then get ready for dinner and then back to parks again.

We love the Grotto pool at the Swan/Dolphin. What we do for a stress free vacation is hit the Parks at opening for 2 hours or so until the lines start to form. Then we go have a nice lunch somewhere & head to the Grotto for swimming & napping in the sun. Then we shower up, do dinner & a little more Park time or PI time. Then we crash to do it again the next day. Now THAT'S vacation! :cloud9:

Absolutely relax and swim in the afternoon after a morning of walking. My aching bones loved this pampering in the afternoon. :sunny:

It depends how much of the parks you want to do. I might go to EPCOT first thing get a FP for Soaring, do whatever attractions you have time for before your FP then go back to BC for lunch (by the pool or Beaches) then go to a park late afternnon for dinner and the nighttime show.

After a night of jellyrolls you might just want to sleep in have a late breakfast and only go to the parks late afternoon-early evening.

I don't think you'll find the pools too crowded in September. We've been 3x in September - all very hot trips - so the pool in the afternoon is very welcome after a few rides. Save those cooler morning hours for the parks!

This is my favorite way to vacation. We usually get up and hit the parks early doing only the things we really wan to. Out of the parks when it starts gettign hot and crowded and back for swimming (or shopping or whatever), swim for a few hours or longer depending upon the kids and weather. Showers and back to a park for dinner and fireworks or DTD and PI. IF we were up really late we might sleep in and then go fora walk and explore priro to swimming or a day at the waterparks. Nice and easy, no running from park to PS and feeling like you've run a marathon rather than gone on vacation! :rotfl2:

We'll go to the pool first thing in the morning until around noon or so, then get ready and spend the rest of the day doing whatever we have planned for the day. That way we're not "getting ready" twice in a day.

Hmmm... interesting question.

I do it the opposite of most of the posters on this thread. I would allow myself to sleep in and then enjoy the pool/activites at the resort in the morning when it's less crowded, then head to the parks sometime after lunch and enjoy the nighttime activites.

Although getting up early to get some park touring done also makes a lot of sense too.

Either way, you'll have a great time.

We leave Sunday for BCV's. This trip it will be just me and my DS who's 8. Since we were just at Disney in May, my "plan" for this trip is to have it be very relaxing and laid back. I plan on doing parks in the mornings and around lunch heading back to swim. In the evenings, most of our dinner ADR's are at Epcot since it's an easy walk from BCV's. I'm one of those people who love kicking back and hanging at the resort. My DS should love SAB so hopefully we'll both be happy! :goodvibes

In September, it can still be pretty hot down there, and the parks are more crowded in the afternoons. I'd suggest going to the parks in the morning, and then going to the pool and relaxing at the resort in the afternoon.

Have fun!
