What is your rate for July/August?

Royal Pacific, just booked. 4 nights $249 per garden view queen, includes 2 free passes per room ( 2 park/7 day) and lunch and dinner on property for 8 year old.

No AAA was left for the end of July. I quess the old Loews First Card won't get me an upgrade anymore though, or should I ask anyway?

Staying Aug 17 - 22nd @ Hard Rock Club Level for $216 + tax. Free lunch & dinner for 7 yrs old on site dining @ hotel only. I paid more 2 yrs ago for the Royal Pacific Standard room the first week of August. We got a much better price this for club because we are going 2 wks later than usual. :cool1:

Going for 4 nights July 25-29 Hard Rock- $306 (incl tax) garden view for first night, $290(incl tax) next 3 nights. This includes our two adult passes and children passes free. I'm wondering if somehow I could have gotten this cheaper from seeing the other rates posted here. First-timer to Universal, so definitely don't know the ins and outs.

I was going to call tonight and see how much annual passes were and if they give you a discounted rate on hotels. Anyone know this?

Thanks....

We booked through AAA for Aug. 13-15 and we have two rooms at $290 each with tax included. We don't do a package since it is cheaper to do the room and tix separately with the AAA discounts on both.

We got a fantastic rate Aug 16 for a total of 6 nights. Super Savings rate of $160 a night! Portofino Hotel. The AAA rate we had was I think $229.

6 nts 2nd week of August Portofino $177.93 per night Garden View :thumbsup2

Hard Rock. 6 nights, August 18-24, Pool View, 163.00 per night all taxes included

I have a TREMENDOUS travel agent! Total cost for the room for 7 days and 6 nights and the 7 day passes for two is $1190.00. I believe the passes were $212.00 with the tax.

She got me round trip air from Atlantic City to Orlando for $98.00 per person.:cool1:

You can get those prices through the website. They are the supersaver prices because of the extended stay.

I just checked the web site and got a rate of $1387.13 (per room) for those same dates and the same room. I am paying $408.87 less than the web site price.

Their Super Saving rate is $205.00 per night and I am paying $163.00.

How do you figure its the same?

That's weird because this afternoon the website gave me a price about that for the supersaver rate but I see now that the price is $1260 including tax but not including passes. Maybe I was looking at RPH which is $157/night. We're looking at going around then too. The price during the week is great but it goes up a bit on the weekends. The HRH is only $144/night using annual pass rate during the week and RPH is only $129. Those are such great prices. Well worth having an annual pass.

How much is the AP? I don't think I would save enough for the 6 nights to justify the cost would I? And why is there such a difference in price between the 3 hotels?

I booked the trip in April and was thrilled with the price.

There is always quite a price difference between the 3 hotels. There is a room size difference and a quality level difference.

The annual pass is $229 but renewal rates are half that. If you plan on going every year, it is definitely worth it.

We are paying $209 plus tax per night for eight nights in August at HRH club level.

Breebella,

Where did you book those rates? I need your secret! :goodvibes

I booked on Universal's website under their 40% Super Saver Rate. I think I got a pretty good rate because I booked it in February. I checked today and the rate is now $273+ tax for my exact same date and room selection.

I periodically check the website anyway to compare rates and they are constantly going up & down. so far I have not seen a better rate than what I already have, however, I did notice that the rate for Portofino has gone down and its currently cheaper than the Hard Rock.

I paid $142 a night at RPR July 3-10th for their SS rate. Plus we booked that back in January.:thumbsup2
