Curious how many members do split stays on a regular basis. Do You have a preferred or favorite split stay? wife and I have done 5 since January 2020 and our favorite has been poly (lake view)-boardwalk. This May we will be doing old key 1 bedroom and animal kingdom savannah. Never stayed at eithier resort so we are excited to go. Based on the resort we prefer from those 2 we plan on buying that one direct to add on to our boardwalk resale( if we can get one to pass rofr )

My favorite split stays are always an EPCOT resort/ MK resort. I love walking to the parks. If we have a long stay we might add in a night or two at AKV but lately we have been splitting WDW with universal resorts so AKV gets dropped.
I cant stand driving to MK so always pick an MK resort for at least a few nights.
I like all of the Epcot resorts on Crescent Lake and all of the MK resorts so I don’t really care which ones we stay at as long as we rotate. Don’t really like to repeat for awhile.

Favorite would probably be Boardwalk/ GF or Boardwalk / Poly.

I’ve done a few, but never the trifecta I really want. 3 days BCV, 3 days CCV, 2 days AKL savannah view. I’ll get it some day.

We use splits only to try out other resorts for a night or two.

So far, we've done 2 nights in a BRV 1br and 1 night in a Poly studio. Liked BRV okay, hated Poly but for the short walkway to the TTC.

Way we look at it is when you've got a home at The Grand :snooty:, no need for more than a sample anywhere else. :-)

SSR and BWV or AKV and BWV has been our reg and we like those. We aren't MK people though (been empty nest for a few years). We are big on the Epcot festivals. So BWV and SSR is convenient to Epcot. Plus we like DS a lot now too. And I'd say AK and AKL is our next fave place to hang after Epcot and DS. We are all about the booze (and food) no treble....lol.

Plus we love the new style of SSR rooms and always liked the style of AKV. BWV is kinda the ugly stepchild of our 3 faves but makes up for that with primo location. BcV is good too (pretty interchangeable with BWV.

We used to do splits a lot. But last year we bought a place down there near Disney. So we now just do 1 night DVC stays to go enjoy and not drive back (about 30 min drive) after having drinks. We stay down at our place for 3-6 weeks at a time and will find random single nights which is very easy and awesome. Got Riviera for first time and AKV club level last trip. Have Riviera tower studio a night this summer and AKV club level 2 more nights this summer and fall. Like Riviera but it is point high so we likely will only book if we can get tower studio.

I’ve never actually done it yet, but I bought 2 contracts, one at Poly and one at BWV, so that’ll eventually be the one! In 2020 we did a BCV/BLT which was awesome (even though Stormalong Bay was closed). For park warriors who don’t have a car, like my family, any stay that limits bus transportation and maximizes walking to/from the parks is what we favor.

I like the walk to 3 park aspect of a split stay (not into AK so driving there 1 morning is ok) - my favorite is 4 nights at Beach Club and then 4 at Grand Floridian - except in December, then I prefer VWL/BR over VGF.
