What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

I just bought a small pack of disposable warming eye masks to test them out and OMG they are great! I get a lot of sinus and eye pain and these are amazing. Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Mine have been delivered. Can't wait to try them. Any experience on issues with fake eyelashes - professionally applied - not the strips - with the masks?

Sorry I don’t have any experience with them, but it shouldn’t be a problem. I’d say it’s less heat and moisture than a hot shower. They also don’t directly touch your lids unless you press them down.

Thank you! Had to help one of my dogs cross the Rainbow Bridge an hour ago. Thinking I will be needing these tonight.

I will start a list of not so normal items to pack for use at WDW.

We bring a McDonalds takeout cardboard 4 cup holder. We bring plastic Disney cups in 4 different patterns, whcih fit into the McDonalds 4 cup holder. What we use it for is a tooth brush holder. Everyone gets a cup assigned to them, to place their toothbrush in. The toothbrushes are organized and do not touch the counter. :goodvibes

We also bring a power bar with at least 8 outlets in it. We use the power bar to plug in our 4 cell phones, camera batteries, ipods, and anything else which needs charging. It helps when there are only 2 or 3 plus available to charge things at night. :goodvibes

We bring ziplock bags in quart and gallon sizes. We use them to store any food we bring back to the room (no bugs please) and our cell phones & camera's when it rains. :goodvibes

What do you bring and use at WDW which are not normal items like a brush, clothes, extra sneakers ?
4 cup holder great idea.Thanks🖖

At least 2 usually 3 frozen solid water bottles. Best way to stay cool in the parks because we always have ice cold water as they melt. Plus it's cheaper then the Dasani in the parks

I really don't like to carry too much on me, so I never take extra dishes, even if it's going to be a souvenir.

AVEENO Oatmeal Powder in individual packets to soak my feet & ankles in the bathtub before bedtime .
I seem to get that mysterious rash around my ankles whenever I am at DL or WDW…
I think walking on concrete kicks up the insect repellent they use . Maybe …?
That Disney rash is vasculitis.

Ziploc bags. Lightweight and waterproof! Helps me keep my park bag super light and items stay dry. Sometimes by snacks in bulk and can bring a snack bag to the park. Holds a wet umbrella or poncho. Got a 100 uses for them!

I’ve found a wet brush is great, I use it on my hair all the time now that I have one, and I’ve had no issues with knots or pain since I’ve got it. It’s probably great if you’ve got kids, especially kids with sensory issues or just those who dislike their hair being brushed. I’ve got the thick, flat-top sort of rectangle looking one, and while it’s much bigger than any of my other brushes, it works like a charm. Definitely planning on bringing it the next time I go.

Wow!! 4 Owners Lockers! I presume you have long stays and/or many trips.
I'm so jealous. Even though I have several week stays and one 2-weeks stay, I have no Locker and trying to figure out if I can justify the cost. I never cook at Disney so need none of that yet I do take tons of 'products' to help various ailments.
Hmm....I seriously need to look into it. I know DH will say we spend 3 months in winter an hour away so, if worst comes to worst, we could get what we want. But I like the idea of an Owners Locker much better.
Once you get them you can't go back. Just having full size toiletries or any kind of alcohol and all the OTC medication and things like hair brushes and ponytail holders and gloves and socks makes it worth it. Especially any Disney swag. There's no place at home destroy that stuff. And sometimes we do order into the room and it's nice to have salt and pepper and a few other things like red hot pepper. I keep a complete double set of makeup and love it.

Your description sounds wonderful. So tired of suitcases bursting at the seams and yet have had enough lost luggage that airline checking has been a curse.
Thanks for responding.

I adore Ziploc bags. In fact, I adore too much as I have tons. Love all the sizes and use for everything but especially travel. Cannot possibly travel without a supply of various sizes. Can't begin to say how many times I grab from my backpack (yes, definitely for wet umbrellas), suitcase or tote. As I always say, "Best Invention Ever". Ha.

Wooden clothespins.

Besides being useful to hang wet swimsuits on the line over the tub, they serve as:
- hangers for washcloths, for showers that just have a metal wire corner "shelf"
- chip clips for open bags of food
- stands for wet toothbrushes
- clips for keeping bedroom curtains closed if there's a gap in the middle
- weights for shower curtain liners that like to blow inward and stick to your legs
- clips for charger cords, to prevent them from slipping behind furniture
- spools for charger cords and ear buds
- clips to convert a standard hanger into a hanger for shorts/skirts
...and myriad other things.
Love your suggestions. I also never, ever go to a hotel, resort etc without a wooden clothespin in my suitcase. It seems that none of the drapes close completely and I'm a terrible sleeper and need the darkness. Some of the Disney resorts are the worst.
One time I forgot my trusty clothespin so grabbed a chip clip I had thrown in to use if we bought a Disney snack bag and it worked like a charm.

I pack a fly swatter at the bottom of one of my bags on every trip (not just to WDW). It takes up almost no space and has come in handy several times.

You can always use a hanger with the clips on it (from the hotel closet) for the curtains too. 😊
