In getting ready for our first trip, I would like to compile a must have photo list. I've been reading the photo of the day and that got me to thinking about creating this list. If you could list what the photo is and where (which land/park) you would need to be in to take the photo that would be AWESOME!

The ultimate must-have picture is, of course, the castle. The best place to get that is from Main Street. What my dad and I did in the last trip is while we were waiting at rope drop (we were in the front), we had a cast member snap a photo of us in front of the castle. It was so cool, I made the pic into a tie for him for Christmas.

We have taken a picture of my DD every trip to Disneyland in front of the Mark Twain and the Rivers of America. I have to get the same shot every year so we can compare how much she has grown from each trip.

Mine is special to us and our kids (Kids! :rotfl2: They are grown up and married with kids of their own!) Every time we have gone to Disneyland, since they were 2 and 4 years old, I have taken their picture by the front door to the White Rabbit's House. Over the years they have grown too big to stand up close to it anymore, but we still do it. ::yes:: It's over by the Tea Cups and the Alice in Wonderland ride. :ccat: :ccat:

I saw a similar thread on the WDW boards last year before our trip. I saw a pic I just loved and had to copy. So we did it! Here is our version:

In front of the big Mickey head when you enter the park

I always take a pic of my son standing next to the big A in CALIFORNIA......and my daughter in front of the R. They are the first letters of their names. It is fun to see how they have gotten taller compared to the letters. I was bummed to hear the letters were likely going away soon.....

One of my favs was the monorail going through the "golden gate" I think that it will be even more amazing with the new supper shinny monorails!

When we go back, we will for sure need a pic of the kids standing with Mickey - we got one last time with my sons, but my DD was off with my mother so she missed out.

Also, we got some great shots on the teacups, and I want to replicate that next time. The trick is to get the shot before the ride starts moving, so you can get everyone smiling and not blurry.....or nauseated......:lmao:

our family with Mickey! After all he is the leader of the club :thumbsup2

I'm going to look through the photos of when I went at age 10 (back in 1979!) and see if I can get my kids in the same spot. Might take the pics along with as reference even.

We have gotten our family photo taken for the last 7 years in front of the castle. It is wonderful to see how our family changes over the years. Some years we have had other family members or friends. Since the photos have the year on them it makes it real easy to remember who went with us which year.
