i have a 4 year old and wondering which areas of epcot (imagination, land, etc.) we should not miss. And the ones to put at the end of our list incase we don't get to them and can say we didn't miss much...thanks!

When my DS was that age (he was 3.5, but under 40 inches, alas!) he LOVED the kids play area at Mission Space. Looking at all the cars on display at test track was a big hit, but that could have something to do with the fact that his Grandpa is a chevrolet dealer, LOL. He was uninterested but tolerant at the Land (we rode the boat ride), and wasn't as interested in the Imagination pavilion as I thought he would be--he *really* didn't like HISTA.

In the World Showcase, it was hit or miss. He liked the Mexico boat ride (and this was before it was redone--I think it's probably better now). The China and Canada movies, not so much. He really liked Norway, because he got to eat lefse (we're Norwegian by descent and that is a christmas time treat for us) and enjoyed the boat ride. He even liked the movie at the end! Also, and this was a big surprise--he loved Illuminations (I thought the fireworks would freak him out) and we went back a couple of nights later to see it again.

We didn't do everything that trip, but it was an awful lot of fun. I hope you have an equally good time.

My DD was 5 when we went she loved the Nemo section, soarin, Honey I shrunk the kids and test track. She really did not enjoy visiting the countries. We did the ride in Norway and the one in Mexico but other then that she wan't very into it. Maybe if you plan to watch some of the shows or some of the meet n greets ur DD might enjoy them. But I can honestly say her absolute favorite was Soarin. Have fun.

A lot of people don't realize how great Epcot can be for little kids! In FW, you of course have all of the attractions (depending on the height of your child for some of them) - Soarin', Livin with the Land, Nemo, Turtle Talk, Test Track, Mission Space, Journey into Imagination and just playing in Innoventions. In WS, my DD loves making the masks at the Kidcot stops and getting her passport stamped - it makes the countries much more interesting for the younger crowd. She also really enjoyed doing Kim Possible missions on our most recent trip. There are also a lot of character meet and greets in Epcot (WS) and some that are harder to find so that can be fun too.

DS (4) loves Spaceship Earth. At the end of the ride you answer questions about the future and your picture is put up on the big screen in the Siemens section. He gets a kick out of that! He also really enojyed the Nemo ride in the Seas and stepping on the musical notes in the Imagination Pavilion as well as the many activities in Innoventions. He also loved to watch the Monorail come through the park.
In WS, he really enjoyed the Oompa band at the Biergarten in Germany and LOVED meeting Snow White in that Pavilion.
Enjoy you trip!

We just got back and my DD is five, but she really enjoyed:

Soarin' and Test Track (wasn't tall enough last time).
"The Living Seas with Nemo" and "Turtle Talk."
Journey Into Imagination and the "Imagination Lab" afterward.

In the World Showcase, she enjoyed:
The boat ride in Mexico.
The candy lady in Japan (she made DD a lollipop)
Off Kilter (band) in Canada
And -- the big hit of Epcot was the Kim Possible missions. She and DS9 worked together. They might have been tougher to do on her own, but she *loved* holding the Kimmunicator and pressing the buttons on it.

these help with my planning very much. how about the energy exhibit? hit or miss?
