Raising Hope was great, I forgot about that one.

Not a TV series, but there are a zillion videos: Jolly (Josh and Ollie) on YouTube.

Also, I sometimes watch a couple of my favorite Forky episodes before bed--Computer, Leader, and Money are my faves.

For me it used to always be Conan O'Brien's monologue, but now I will usually watch an animated comedy such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, etc.

I'm looking for a new show and wondering what else is out there. I always stick with light TV before bed because it makes me laugh/happy so I have happy dreams.

Some we have gone through more than once
The Office
Friends
Parks and Rec
Modern Family
Schitts Creek
Reba
Clarksons Farm
Silicon Valley
Big Bang
New Girl
30 Rock
That 70 show
Jersey Shore Family Vacation (such a hilarious mess)
Real Housewives (amazing silly mess)

We adore Abbot Elementary but that is still in the primetime stage for us.
I always watch an episode of The Great British Baking Show before bed. I find it entertaining and relaxing, and it's just fun to watch them baking such yummy treats.

I bet NO ONE has this answer!!

FAMILY AFFAIR on Roku. Nothing like dating myself, but when I was a young I loved this show. I'm thru season 2, I might watch one or 2 episodes a week, or less!
I don't have Roku but think of the show every time those ads for "Clear Caption Phones" come on with "Grandma", played by Kathy Garver (aka Cissy). Of course, she is 79 years old so she is old enough to be a grandma, or even a great-grandma!

Hush, you just hush. My best friend growing up had a Mrs. Beasley doll we always created great adventures for. Cissy is barely old enough to date and I won't heard anything further about whatever nonsense you're talking about.

growing up and watching the late 60's and 70's Winnie the Pooh animated specials the sound of sebastian cabot's voice narrating made it seem like 'mr. french' was reading a bedtime story. it was (and still is) very comforting.

The Nanny used to come on Nick at Nite around the time I was going to bed.

Bob's Burgers, Married with Children, and American Dad are also some of my favorites for casual viewing.

So many good suggestions so far. I’m taking note of more than a few of them to watch.

I’ll add Malcolm in the Middle, Last Man Standing and Everybody Hates Chris. I didn’t watch them when they first come out but was glad to have multiple seasons to watch when I discovered them.

Do you have Hulu? That's usually how I watch that one since I'm never around when it airs in primetime. I actually was late to the game with it since I didn't care for the pilot and wanted to give it a second chance. I ended up binging everything that was available. Still, you could do the same on the Hulu app...or via Disney+ if you also have Hulu tethered to it.
