At home or at my office desk for lunch? Usually nothing, just the sandwich and maybe a piece of fruit. In a restaurant? I'll usually take the fries with gravy (typical Canadian thing) but am only able to have two or three, due to severe acid reflux. Plain old potato chips out of bag? Never. And it's never a choice on a restaurant menu here.
I'm curious about the OP's choice of "sides". Those items sound more hearty than the sandwich itself.
