I have dined there 2 times. The first time (March 2010) I had
Gateau of Crab - Jumbo Lump Crab, Orange Fennel Cream, and Tomato Fennel Slaw
Filet Sicilian - Oak-grilled Filet of Beef with Spanish Onions, Peppadew and Banana Peppers, Quattro Formaggi Crushed Potatoes, and Veal Glace de Viande
Lemon Cheesecake - with fresh raspberry sauce
The second time (May 2010) I tried
Sautéed Shrimp - Lemon, White Wine, Tomatoes, and Feta Cheese
Braised Short Ribs - creamy polenta, sauteed greens, and blood orange demi-glace
For desert I had a seasonal berry desert that they only offered in the spring
The shrimp appetizer was my absolute favorite item. I had a great conversation with my waiter and he said that if I liked it so much, I could order it over pasta as an entree. I am definitely planning to do that on my next visit.
The crab gateau is yummy to, but the shrimp was better. If you are looking for beef, the braised short ribs were better than the filet, but the 4 cheese mashed potatos that come with the filet are divine.
I hope you enjoy your meal there.
I was there with my best friend for her 40th birthday in May and she actually ordered Roasted Chicken Breast - Tanglewood Farms Chicken with Roasted Mushroom Risotto. She doesn't like mushrooms, so they substituted the 4 cheese mashed potatos for the risotto.
