What is your favourite candy item/sweet treat at Disneyland Resort?

Churros, basically anything from Karamel Kuche, Carrot Cake Cookie from HS, dole whip (obvs), the brioche gelato sandwich from France, and I always go to the UK and load up on my favorite candy bar of all time: Crunchie bars. If you've never had one, it will change your life.

The sweet tooth is strong with this one...

EDIT: Totally just realized you are asking for DL and not WDW :rotfl: disregard me, I have sugar on the brain!!! If you ever come to WDW, now you'll know what to get! :thumbsup2

Matterhorn macaroons from Jolly holiday, chocolate and caramel covered pretzel sticks from Pooh's Corner, Mickey mouse beignets... oh, and caramel apples on Main St! Oh this list could go on and on.... :)

Dark chocolate honeycomb is also a favorite. Also love the mallow squares, can't remember if that's exactly what they are called.

Wait, they sell this at DL? I'll admit that I don't go into Jolly Holiday or any of the candy shops. Where can I find this? I love it. The only other place I can find it is at a ghost town candy shop in the NorCal foothills.

Hi,

I think my favorite sweet treat at DL is the churro. My mom and I like to get churros at night before we leave the park and eat it on the way out. :)

I assume you are referring to the honeycomb? I don't find it every time I visit. I'd say I come across it during about 75% of my visits. I most commonly find it in the Main Street candy shop. They package it in one of those plastic wrapped and sealed trays, so it's with the similarly packaged English toffee, peanut brittle, and so on. There are milk and dark versions, and the dark version always seems to be in shorter supply. I prefer dark chocolate on most candies, so I always hold out for the dark honeycomb. I can't remember if I've ever spotted the honeycomb in DCA, but I have seen it in Marceline's and in the Pooh corner candy shop.

:jumping1:
ok, wow, thank you everyone!

I feel so inspired and well informed now :-)

just a few days and we will step into the plane heading for vacation

I forgot to add that I love the brownie sundae at Ghirardelli in DCA.

I also love the toffee as well as the chocolate/caramel/pecan clusters.
At Christmastime the handmade candy canes (if you are lucky enough to get to buy one) are yummy.

Gotta try the Tigger tale and peanut butter treat Figment was eating. I can't eat gluten but it looks like ingredient wise they are safe (but possibly not safe due to cross contamination - similar warning for the toffee and clusters but I haven't had a reaction so far from those.)

On the negative side, I've found any time I buy one of the bagged fruity candy treats I find it repulsive and have to throw it away so I won't be buying that anymore. And I LOVE fruity candy in general so that's saying a lot. I think I tried the chewy sour balls and some gummy thing once. Blech.

A must have every time we are there is the white chocolate chunk cookie, yum! Big enough to share but yummy enough that I never do :)

My advice is to have someone to split everything with, then you get to try double the sweet treats! :teeth:

My favorites are (in no particular order):
1) Dole Whip Float
2) Churro (or Churro bites from Cozy Cone)
3) Matterhorn Macaroons from Jolly Holiday
4) Classic waffle cone from Gibson Girl
5) Caramel apple
6) I got this peanut butter monstrosity from the Main Street candy shop before Soundsational a couple of years back. It looked similar to what Figment posted about but I'm not sure if it's the same one I had. Either way it was delicious!

Dole Float for sure!! A shared banana split or sundae from Ghirardelli in DCA! Mini Mickey shaped Turtles and chocolate dipped shortbread from the candy store on Main Street! I had one of those Raspberry Macarons and it was awesome- tart but sweet, my next one will be a late night indulgence with a cup of hot cocoa! I also loved the frozen lemonade, especially the cherry flavored option in Fantasyland. Yum!

I was surprised I didn't see more Dole whips!

Mine is the same as above:

1) Dole Whip
2) Churro

I haven't been to disneyland yet but every time I'm in Disney World I have to get the Rice Krispie treats that are dipped in chocolate. If the have them at Disneyland I'm going to have one (or three)

Churros, Dole Whips, ice cream, and the chocolate covered rice crispy treats. Mmmm...Now I'm hungry!
