I am posting on this board to get all teens - ages 13 to 18 - opinions.
I want to surprise our teens (DD & DS) with a graduation trip to WDW (JRHS & HS).

What moderate resort do you think our family of 4 should stay at for 2 weeks ?

Why do you think the moderate resort you chose is the best for teens ?

Thank you for your help! ;)

I have a family of 5 and we stay in the Alligator Bayou section of Port Orleans Riverside everytime we go. Its my favorite moderate resort because it so beautiful and you can take the boat to downtown disney. they have a nice main pool with a slide and quiet pools. they have a good food court with an arcade. I dont know about your family buy my family just uses the room to sleep so we enjoy it alot. The grounds are beautiful. I would request the Alligator Bayou if you decide to stay here. It is close to the main building/food court and it is also close to the main bus stop which is also the first one so your more likey to get a seat.

I second Port Orleans Riverside.

Its a great hotel: nice pool, great food court and store, the grounds are amazing, and you can get a ferry over to downtown disney.

I would go for POR.

My family prefers POFQ. :upsidedow
The pool is closer, and the food court is amazing.

Thanks for the suggestions - we were thinking of POFQ or POR.
Anyone else have an opinion ? ;)

Well, I don't really care for any other resorts besides Old Key West.
This resort is ahhh-mazing. I lovelovelove the atmosphere of it all.
I have been to CBR before, but i didn't really, shall I say, "feel" it.
For as long as I live, I will stay at OKW (: amazing resort :thumbsup2

My vote is for CBR...I think they'll enjoy the tropical setting there. =)

I'm 13 and I like CSR and POFQ.
But that's just me.
Have fun on your vacation and I hope that helped!

I've only stayed at two on the list - CBR & POR.
I loved CBR, but I was 8 when I stayed there.
I was 12 when I stayed at POR, and I honestly didn't think it was all that special. It was nice, but I hardly remember it at all. I guess it just didn't leave a lasting impression on me.
Having said that, I honestly don't know which one to vote for. I'm sure wherever you stay will be fine.

I've only stayed at POR (previous times, at the All-Stars), but I must say, it's great. There's a "quiet pool" behind the Acadian House (our building). The store is great (nice themeing), and the boat to DTD very conveniant.

I really like the tropical setting of CBR as well. Its so beautiful. Gotta love those new Finding Nemo themed rooms too :rotfl: We are only in the room for sleeping, but its really nice. The food court is nice too, alot of different choices of food and all. I haven't swam in the pool since I was little, but they've refurbished it since then anyways. Looks nice.
So you are only staying at one resort? I think if I was staying for two weeks I would maybe try two different ones. Im not sure how big of a pain that would be though. So hard to decide on a single resort lol.

I've stayed at all of them, and my personal favorite is POFQ.
It's a bit livelier than POR, and it's fun theming.

Oh, and I'm 17.
