What Is Your Favorite WDW Extinct Food/Treat?

I miss the wrapped chocolate mint candies after sit down meals. The wrapper always had the parks appropirate icon on it. I also miss the mickey shaped butter.

I miss King Stefan's banquet hall when you could order off the menu which had lots of choices unlike CRT of today.

Vegetable pot pie at the Liberty tree tavern. It was my favorite meal on property.

The Goofy Bar for me too and I never understood why they got rid of the only chocolate choice. They have lost soooo much money on me through the years...not at all interested in vanilla ice cream or fruit bars.

Wasn't there a Mickey Bar supplier change at some point? Didnt they change from Nestlé to Dove?

Back OT,

QS restaurants that used to have desserts worth paying for.
Electric Umbrella used to have huuge, warm toll house cookies. There were places with chocolate milk shakes..

Now you mostly get pre-packaged hard cookies made in Canada or a "meh" Minute Maid frozen lemonade. Curse you, DDP!

Even a survivor like the giant ice cream sandwich you could get as a dessert with a deli sandwich at the Main Street Bakery that no longer exists :/

....but there is still Zebra Domes at Mara ;)

NOt sure but thinking the Cookie Sandwich that they have at the carts is Nestle.

And yes to the other poster...the Goofy Bar had several reincarnations. The Hunchback bar and the Millenium Bar were the same but then it just totally disappeared.

Sad I know so much about the Goofy Bar....

I miss the Tomorrowland Terrance Noodle Station more than words can express. All I want is that giant bowl of noodles!! It was fairly affordable as a whole, too.
I held onto hope of it coming back, but I'm definitely out of luck :(

I used to work at Noodle Station. Can't believe they got rid of that menu - it was so popular and the food was FRESH!!! Pass me some Orange chicken and chicken noodle soup please!

I miss the margharetas that are $12ish each at Mexico being served in a GLASS!

I haven't seen the Mickey Premium Bars the last couple of years too - have they gone?! I used to love those!

So many-but the 3 I remember most are strawberry swirl at Enchanted Grove in MK, sweet potato pancakes at Boatrights, and chicken caesar salad entree when CRT was a non-character lunch.

Ice Cream Social at Garden Grill

Boatwrights Breakfast

Le Cellier Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes

The Hercules Ice Cream Bar (circa 1998) it was chocolate ice cream with caramel inside.

The french toast loaf at the Main St Bakery.

French toast loaf at Main Street Bakery. Had to get there early before they ran out. This was my fav breakfast. Went away around 2007ish?

I miss the Mickey ice cream bar with chocolate ears (chocolate ice cream not chocolate dipped), vanilla face, and chocilate eyes and mouth. I remember them when we went to MGM (now DHS) in May '89, just two days after they opened.

I also miss the pinapple with the caramel dipping sauce from Ohana.

I miss the create your own omelet at Boatwrights and I never got to try Figaro Fries. I happened to read about them here one day and my next trip I was by myself so I headed there for lunch. It was a big hassle, you can't go in this door and have to go in that door, etc., I waited on a long line and finally they handed me a menu and I got up to the counter and said I didn't see Figaro Fries on the menu and the lady said they had just discontinued them. What a disappointment!

A few weeks ago I stayed at Pop and they have changed their whole menu. No Mom's Night Out???? That's our favorite. No Beef and Broccoli, etc. Very disappointing. I ordered shrimp and grits and it took forever to get it. Every CM that walked past said, "Are you the grits person?" and I thought to myself I could be n trouble. Eventually they walked out with a togo container and I took it back to the room. When I opened it, it had 1" of grease on top!:scared1::scared1: I walked back and saw a manager and asked if I could show him something. I opened up my container and said, "Would you eat this?" and he said, "No, that's disgusting." He asked if he could replace it with something and I was so upset I told him to not bother. I asked him what happened to the menu and he said management wanted to change it and after 2-3 months they would see what the guests had to say and take it from there. I asked him to please include my feedback.

We use to love the fresh salsa w/chips they served at the San Angel Inn in WS When we stopped there for lunch last year they stopped serving that wonderful salsa and had an awful, over spicy, pureed stuff. When we asked for the salsa we were told they don't have it any more because kids complained about onions in it.... hello....it's salsa and it wasn't spicy like the new stuff. :confused3 Personally, I think they went to the cheap stuff because of free dining.

My first trip to MK was in the late 1970s when I was in the first grade, and I had one meal that was so good I still remember it! We had breakfast at the Poly (I think it was in Tangaroa Terrace), and got pancakes with m&m's in them and vanilla syrup. That was the best breakfast item for a kid ever! :rotfl2: My next trip to MK was in high school and by that time the m&m pancakes were long gone, so I graduated to Tonga Toast, which I still love.
