What is your favorite thing to do at Animal Kingdom?

I love the whole Africa section of the park.

I could spend the day just hanging out in Harambe Village... Drinking a beer at the Dawa bar, shopping, enjoying the musicians in the street, riding the Kilimanjaro Safaris over and over. And seeing the Festival of the Lion King (of course!)

I just love the feel of this area... it makes me happy.

The thing we liked most about AK??? Leaving.

Our daughter was too young and it was too hot and crowded, in our opinion, definitely #4 of the 4 parks...

We love the Safari (how could you not?). It's Tough to be a Bug is great entertainment and the line to get in takes you around the Tree of Life-we loved discovering all the animals carved on the Tree of Life. Festival of the Lion King is fun-very colorful and lots of audience participation. We thought Dinasour was a great ride-especially the very first time when we had no idea what to expect. We also enjoyed Tarzan Rocks. We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe-entertainment in itself. The park is beautiful-my very favorite!

:D

There are so many great things to see and do at AK, but my favorite is Kilimanjaro Safaris. I love being able to see animals i don't normally see, all the while feeling as though I'm on a real African safari.

I've always loved animals & we love visiting AK on our WDW trips. :) We always choose to do an early entry to AK on the days that it is offered. We always have great luck seeing many animals at this time of day. We head to the Kilimanjaro Safari Ride 1st thing - many animals are out & about early in the morning - before it gets too hot there. After that we like to walk some of the trails to see the tigers & gorillas. Twice we have seen them feed the tigers early in the day. This is a great experience. :D

We also try to hit the Dinosaur ride early, before the park gets too crowded - this ride can get pretty busy. We usually get all of this done by 10 am & then hit Donald's Breakfastasaurus for some tasty breakfast & great character interaction. After breakfast we love to visit the characters at Camp Minnie-Mickey, go to Tough to be a Bug, and anything else we may have missed.

We usually only do a half day at AK, but several times throughout the trip. Definitely try to catch the Jammin' Jungle Parade one afternoon - it's really cute! HTH! :teeth:

Have a cold one at the Dawa bar while watching the Acrobats, they're amazing! There was also an audience participation percussion show (wandering performers) that was a lot of fun!
