Hi, we are going on our first trip to WDW in a little over a week & I have been stalking the food porn thread, drooling :lmao:. I have a serious sweet tooth & I can't wait to dig my teeth into some of the things I have seen. Please let me know what is "infamous" or the best, in your opinion. So far on my list of must tries is:

the butterfinger cupcake @ Starring Rolls
mickey ice cream bar
cinnamon rolls @ Main St Bakery
school bread- not sure where it's located?
zebra domes @ AKL or the Mara
Goofy's Candy Co.- DTD

school bread can be found in the Norway section of Epcot. I've never had it, but friends rave about it.

I love Dole Whips! Also Mickey bars and chocolate-dipped rice krispy treats. (The fresh ones at the bakery, not the ones in cellophane in every gift shop.)

Oh and a choc chip ice cream cookie sammie at the Main Street bakery.

Thanks! I will definitely be trying the school bread.

What is a dole whip exactly? I have seen pictures & it looks like soft serve ice cream. I may have to try it.

-The HUGE rice krispy treats they make at that main street confectionery
. They make them fresh from scratch, and the lady making them once told me the recipe.

-The chocolate turtles at Main Street Confectionery.. the best turtles I have ever had .

-Bubble Tea from the counter service in the China pavilion . (and the iced peach tea from the tea stand outside is OUTSTANDING as well. :)

Meh..some people love them, but I am quite indifferent towards them.. Think of them like your run of the mill pineapple sorbet in a fancy plastic cup. lol

I go for the packaged candy, Goofy's sour cherry chewy balls. Love those suckers :upsidedow

Creme Brulee from Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, or a funnel cake from MK, or a dole whip:lmao:. I can't decide LOL

Just about everything at Boulangerie Patisserie France pavilion at EPCOT:hmghost:

I think the dole whips are awesome! But I am not a real sweets girl so they may not be a great choice for a real sweet tooth. They are more on the tart side of sweet :confused3 If you know what I mean?!
If you eat at Kona, the chocolate fondue is awesome. I love the pineapple dipped in chocolate.........Oh wait I see a trend here:rotfl::rotfl:

I don't know what it is, but I love the chocolate covered marshmellows in MK. We always use our left over snack credits to get some, and they are always delicious!

Still have to try school bread.

I am also on the look for "magic bars". They look just like my moms magic cookie bars. They have chocolate and butterstotch chips and coconut over them on a gramcracker crust, and are shaped like a giant square. Anyone know what i am talking about?

I seem to recall buying a magic bar at the POR food court a few years back.

To the OP, my new favorite treat is the caramel pecan bar at the new caramel shop in Germany. It's thoroughly decadent and worth every calorie.

A close second would be the ice cream cookie sandwich from the Main Street Bakery, but only if you have a few people to share it with. That thing is HUGE!

It is not too sweet, but I love the sweet cream cheese filled pretzels! I also love school bread from Norway!!! Too good!

You must at least try a Dole Whip! I loooove them! Its a pineapple flavoured soft serve... it is so refreshing... You will only find them in Magic Kingdom accross from the Swiss Family Robinson Tree at a kiosk called Aloha Isle.... I couldn't find them the first time I went, because I assumed they would be available everywhere. They are not,so, they are a special treat!

Otherwise, I would suggest the Mickey icecream sandwich. Anything from Sunshine Seasons at Epcot... It's the best counter service restaurant in all of WDW!! The food is amazing and the desserts rock (i like the fruit tart).

There are so many tasty things at Disney!! You are going to love it!

I love the melon Kaki Gori in Japan at Epcot, the sweet cream cheese pretzels with a frozen Coke from the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland, and the strawberry tart from the bakery in France.

Dole Whips for Aloha Isle.
Kaki Gori from Epcot Japan
Cinnamon Rolls from Main Street.
:lovestruc
