What is your favorite souvenirs from WDW?

Wow, they're cool. I think I might have saw them before. I would love to have one. Thanks for the links.

You are very welcome. One thing is the first ones I bought plugged in. The last one we bought runs on batteries. Didn't know they were different - just wanted you to know. Also we bought ours on Main Street - on the right side on Main Street while you are walking towards the castle.

I love looking at them. Thanks for the thread.

I love character autographs!! My kids love doing the pressed pennies which make great cheap souvenirs!

I have a few favs. One is the pick-a-pearl necklace I had made on our first trip as a whole family, and my daughters got necklaces too. Another is my "mornings aren't magical" Tink mug, I use it every morning for my coffee and that's about how I feel LOL! On this last trip I got Laila perfume from Norway, and it is the best scent!!

I always end up with a mug!
I also love:cloud9: the cheap little buttons they throw in a bucket at the cash register. I find the most unique pins in there.:wizard:

The dual mickey head sterling silver ring I got on my first trip to WDW. My mom was with me, so it reminds me of being there with her.

And the claddagh necklace my bf got me from Raglan Road when we were there this past February.

I wear both of these everyday.

My favorites:
1. Ear hats with my name on it (even got the mini ones for my dogs)
2. Disney Pins I've traded for
3. For others I love to buy ornaments
4. Pick a pearl from Japan Epcot

I LOVE the IDE of the ears for the dogs!!! My little one would be so cute with a pair of Mickey ears. Thanks for the idea. Your doggies are super cute in your picture:)

We MUST get a Christmas ornament every trip. If the one we like doesn't have the year on it already, we get it custom painted (worth the added expense for us as we'll keep it forever).

I get a mug every now and then, if it's really unique and fun. I do all the cooking in our home, so anything Disney for the kitchen makes me smile.

I like to get a wearable each trip. One year I got a tee (classic Mickey on a blue background), last year I got a pink 70s-styled zip up hoodie (because it was randomly freezing on our last day, but I still wear it often), and this year I'm going to be on the hunt for a vintage-style baseball cap.

We have a state shape magnet collection (get a magnet in the shape of every state we visit). I've decided we need a WDW one to go with, I feel like it's a state in and of itself. So that's on my list this year.

DS will be turning 4 on our trip, and I'm thinking we might get him started with pins. We bought some last year for him, but he didn't really care (he was only 2.5), but at least we have a couple to start with. If he's not into it yet, we'll just save them for next time.

If you have small children, I can say out of all the toys we've bought DS since his first trip in 2011, the small blue ray gun (with lights and sound) from the shop after the Buzz ride in MK (about $12) has been the BEST money spent. It's still going strong, it's not super annoying, and he still loves it and plays with it just about every day. There's also a 3 pack of cars from a shop outside of Test Track in Epcot. They're Toy Story themed and look like little race cars I guess. The Woody one is brown, etc. They are the kind that have a little assistance when they are pushed, the have some oomph in them. Anyways, I don't know how much they were (probably around $10-$15?) because my mom got them for him while we rode TT, but he still loves those and plays with them a lot after almost 2 years as well. Totally worth it.

We talk about getting the monorail train set every year because it's just so cool, but we just haven't pulled that trigger yet. I can order it online, and so far I haven't felt like I needed it once we were back home. It must just be one of those things that is so much more appealing when we're immersed in all that Disney magic.

I got a Dooney & Bourke wristlet (Mickey Balloons) in 2011 but I rarely use it unfortunately. Change and small things fall out from the flap (it doesn't zip). That was a pretty pricey flop. It's still super cute, but I haven't gotten the use out of it that I thought I would. The wristlets they have now zip, so I'm thinking of getting the sketch one on my trip this year.

This is so pretty! I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for that! I've been turned off on Disney jewelry since the charm bracelet I bought with the intention of adding new charms each trip turned colors. It wasn't sterling silver though! It was one of the ones they sell in the bins by the registers in the resort shops.

I got it at MouseGear in Epcot, but I've seen it in other shops at MK (in the back of Crystal Arts, or somewhere in the Emporium) and at HS (Sunset Club Couture, I think), too. I think it was around $27. It's beautiful, and I've received lots of compliments on it. I like that it's not overtly Disney, but if you really look at it, you can tell what it is.

Thanks! Awesome price too (I expected like $50), I think I can con my DH into getting it for me. :rotfl:

We took our first trip last September and some of my favorite souvenirs are a coffee mug, a blown glass Mickey head Christmas ornament from a shop at Epcot, some Mickey food magnets, a Mickey tote bag, and the silhouettes I had made of each of our girls in Liberty Square.

I like to get a pin specific to the year or any special event occurring at the time. Also, I usually get a mug or some other kitchenware item that I can use on a daily basis. Character pens are nice because I take them to the office to have a little bit of Disney at work.

Favorite souvenir used to be vinylmations. That was until they change the Mickey Mouse head to a motorcycle helmet head. (look at their profile). Now it’s a year magnet for our fridge, or a unique ear hat to add to our collection of those. I am glad they are bringing back more resort related stuff.

I also get a Christmas ornament every time I go, but I only get ones that have the Mickey shape. That way me and my guests play my own version of Hidden Mickeys every Christmas.
My friend always gets drinkware when she goes, but now she has more glasses, beer steins and coffee mugs than she knows what to do with!
In a past trip I got the Alice in Wonderland french press for tea from the home goods emporium in Downtown Disney. It's handy for both loose leaf tea and ground coffee, and it's enough to fill a Disney coffee mug in one go. Unfortunately I cracked mine last year while I was washing it out but it lasted about 3 years! I'm hoping to get a replacement on my next trip or see what other french presses but I did love the Alice one since I'm a tea drinker and it was themed beautifully.
My friend and I also got matching Turkey leg t-shirts one year and we love them like mad. I'd love to get a Roast Pork Shank shirt if they have one already! (do they?)

Mickey ice cube tray! I'm shocked bc when hubby bought it I was like what are you doing?!?! But we use that and our Mickey pancake shaper all the time. Also the $5 kids charm for a bracket I bought at the resort gift shop, I was looking everywhere for a pandora type charm and all I found were these, well it fits right on my bracelet and I love it, a little kid whimsy on my adult arm. I am kicking myself though that I never found an ornament for the tree i should have bought one,
