What is your favorite snack item in MK and Epcot?

MK - Dole Whip

Epcot - Impossible to pick a favorite
Love sweets in Norway
Coffees in Morocco.
No way can I pick just one

MK- Ice cream cookie sandwich @ Sleepy Hollow
Even though the nutella waffle or the spicy chicken waffle at Sleepy Hollow are a snack credit on the dining plan, I'm definitely going to try them both. :thumbsup2

Epcot: Caramel pecan shortbread and Caramel corn from Karamell Kuche in Germany.

Did you mean to say NOT a snack credit (or a QS meal credit for that matter)?

Dole Whip or the Nutella waffle at MK.

EPCOT hmmm... Chocolate crossaint in French.

Mk: got to stay old school. Mickey ice cream bar but dole whip a close 2nd

Epcot - as Stacy recommends: pretzel une beer. Would love for Canada to bring back beaver tails too!

1. Dole Whip seems to be high and everyone's list so may have to add that on mine as well. Where is the best place to get one?

2. I will be going during MNSSHP and Epcot F&W and am really looking forward to it. Is there a list that comes informing everyone of the special vendors and what they serve.

1. The only place to get a Dole Whip is at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. Normally, you can also get them at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian, but that location is currently closed for refurbishment.

2. Allears.net should have a menu up when it becomes available. You can check out last year's here for an idea of what might be available:

Another great place to learn about the offerings at F&W is easywdw.com. Here's a link to information from last year's festival:

Like a lot of people, my favorite snack at MK is a Dole Whip - I go for the pineapple/vanilla swirl.

At Epcot, I like the almond pretzel at Norway.

Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel !!!! Magic Kingdom The Launching Pad
in Tomorrowland is the only place that sells them!!!

The Cream Cheese Pretzel is one of favorite snacks! Not sure if it's a new menu addition, but I was thrilled to find these last month at one of the little kiosks in the American Pavilion in Epcot. The French and Norway bakery in Epcot are also a must do for my family. So many great little treats at both of these!

As far as MK I concur with PP's who mentioned the snacks at Sleepy Hollow. The Funnel Cake and Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich are to die for! I also like the Iced Coffee Float there as well. I'm in the minority and am not a huge Dole Whip fan, but I do love the Citrus Swirl at the Sunshine Tree Terrace.:goodvibes

MK: The ice cream cookie sandwich at the ice cream parlor on MS. I don't get the appeal of a dole whip :confused3 I think it must be only my family that feels that way.
Epcot: Sweet pretzel at the Kringla Bakery

Is this the same as the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich at Sleep Hollow? That is my favorite snack in all of Disney.

I think I'm skipping crappy counter service meals and eating all these treats instead. A place near hear has Dole Whips and they are not the same. DD and I get one for breakfast and one for lunch!

I have never had one at Sleepy Hollow so I don't know. The one at the ice cream parlor on Main street is the hard ice cream between 2 chocolate chip cookies. Is this what they have at Sleepy Hollow?

You're not alone! I am "meh" with them too. I am a pastry lover so anything like a (chocolate) croissant is a hit with me. Plus ditto on the ice cream cookie sandwich.

Glad to know we aren't alone. There were 4 of us and we each got a different variant of them because we read such good things about them but we were all exactly like you, "meh".

They also have the Cream Cheese Pretzel at:

  • Hollywood Studio's in the Pretzel Garden In the Echo Lake area & the Pretzel stand on Hollywood Blvd
  • Epcot at Block & Hans stand in the America Section

Just in case you can't get to MK in time

Our last trip was January. My husband created a snack treasure hunt for me and our boys. In almost every section of each park, he'd hand us a little card with snack clues. It was up to us to figure out where and what each snack was, and then we'd all share one or two of the same snack. We got to try sooo many new snacks. Some were seasonal - so wouldn't be there now. Some were awful and we'd take a bite and throw them away. Some were amazing, and almost all of them were brand-new to us. We had a blast playing that game. It took him a long time online searching out unusual snacks in each park.

MK: I don't do dole whips because I'm not a fan of pineapple, but at Aloha Isle I love getting a float with Sprite and an orange/vanilla swirl. It's like a creamsicle float with extra citrus flavors. Funnel cakes from Sleepy Hollow are always good and big enough to share.

EPCOT- we go during Food and Wine and eat from the booths for snacks (love the griddled cheese from Greece, and the kimchi dog from South Korea was excellent last year). For food available all the time, I think the Fife and Drum in America still has the jalepeno cheese pretzels. We also love churros from Mexico- and a margarita.
