What is your favorite ride at Disneyland's MK?

Yeah, its really cool the different rides you can combine with imagination to make one adventure.

Like: After surviving a run away mine car, you find yourself at an eeire Plantation... which happens to be haunted! (Haunted mansion + Thunder Mt.)


Its so fun!

LOL here I thought I was the only crazy one that loved that smell. Ok maybe it's not the smell.......but it's just Disney to me all over again. I remember walking in last year and just taking a deep breath..........ohhhhhhhh I was at DL and it was wonderful!

Yep!! It's definitely the smell!!


My favorite is Pirates!! And that oldy, moldy pirate smell (well, whatever it is! ....I love it!)

It still smells the same even after 32 years from my first visit!

I love the Tiki Room.....not a ride, but I love it!

Really DangerMouse? I didn't realize that the OP could edit the title. So if i stated/asked "What's the best California Hotel on the Atlantic Ocean?" in a thread title....I could go back & change Atlantic to Pacific? Good to know.



(& I'll put Toady in the back seat with Alice & Pinocchio.....with Harold's Mountain & HM in the front.....thanks for watching my back. )

(so that would mean that 4 of my 5 favorite Disney rides are exclusively in the Pacific Time Zone. )

Yep, just go advanced when you edit and change the title. That's what happened with my Magic Morning Super Thread. I started it named Early Entry and then changed it later.

I voted for Big Thunder. It's always been my favorite, especially after dark. I love the theming...the silouettes and voices coming from the saloon, the dinosaur skeleton, the sounds of the train and conductor...

The ride itself is fun and not too wild for me. I even got brave enough to let go of the bar and rode part of the way with my hands in the air this last time. My son got a kick out of seeing that.

Yeah, Big thunder is a great one. The themeing is awesome. A lil slow, but the themeing makes up for it.

But i like the DL version better than the Disneyland Florida version. (DF?)

Its "WDW" Walt Disney World.

Yeah, the one in Florida is a bit slow and a bit too tame. IMO the best one is at Paris Disneyland. But I'll make that my final decision after I ride the Disneyland Ca. one first. Its been a few years, so after I've ridden it, Ill be able to tell which of the 3 is the best.

So I had to vote Pirates bc I could't decided and I took all of my memories into consideration from when I used to go as a kid. Of course I love SM too and Splash mountain...and the Mansion...I remember once a few years ago...I mean more than a decade ago, me and my dad rode Thunder Mountain over and over half a dozen times just before the park closed at midnight. There was no line at all and we just stayed on...

BTW I love love love the smell too!!!!!! Good to know I'm not the only one!

IMHO, nothing beats the Storybook Land Canals. You just gotta ride it twice - once in the morning and then after sunset.
