For us half the fun at WDW is EATING. my fav is Cape May Cafe. Mrs. Goofy

I haven't tried Cape May, I keep meaning to! I love Boma, Restaurant Marrakesh, Narcoosees.....I really could go on because I just love to EAT!

IMHO, stay away from Hollywood and Vine. We loved Wispering Canyon. Of course Te is great.

Our last two trips have left us with a sour taste toward the restaurants. The quality of the food and service has declined. I know its Disney and prices will be higher, but I refuse to pay exorbitant prices for mediocre food/service. There are only a couple of restaurants we might revisit....Cape May, Biergarten, TE because its close.

OK I am now getting hungry. I also forgot about whispering canyon. Can we have more than 1 Fav?:)

you can have as many fav's as you want. I need new places to eat, we are in a rut, we like something so we keep going back but miss out on something new.

Depends on where I am.

TE
Biergarten
50's Prime Time
Flame Tree
Cosmic Rays
Kona Cafe
Roaring Forks

I agree, a big part of our vacations is all the dining and drink available around WDW.

It probably sounds cliche, but my favorite place remains LE CELLIER.

Appetizer: Pretzel Bread and Cheese Soup

Steak: Prime Rib or Filet

Drinks: A few Fin du Mondes

That's about as perfect as a meal can get in my book

H & V it was just some bland buffet food for WAY WAY too much money. There really wasn't anything special about it, decor was bland, no theme, nothing fun. We loved the sci-fi, that was fun. But h&v was just bland food you could get at a ryans steakhouse for about 30x less money. By the way, the best burger and beer was at the brew house on the boardwalk, can't remember the name.

Our family's favorite had ALWAYS been The Brown Derby.....but it was so "not up to par" on our last visit....I actually felt ripped off. Its a fairly expensive place....so I dont really feel like we can afford to waste the money on them again just to make sure they were having a BAD NIGHT. Burn me once shame on you....burn me twice....I dont think we'll be returning, and thats a shame because its always been tradition for us, We always do MGM/HS on our last day, and Brown Derby as our "LAST SUPPER" (BigDaddyRog and his 6 disciples!!)....Im sure it wont be hard to start a new tradition. I was soooo completely impressed with Cinderella's Royal Table...that may be our new tradition!!!

Mine are all at Epcot --

ESPN
Rose & Crown
Biergarden
San Angel

Most of these for the atmosphere........ For best food, Le Cellier & Coral Reef

where is that, the pretzel soup sounds delicious.

You people really think Trails end is all that?

It's not Pretzel Soup. It's Pretzel Bread and they also serve Cheese soup. :)

The Trail's End food is nothing to write home about -- but it's good and decently priced (especially breakfast and lunch). And, it just has that "homey" feel to it that we love! And, it's close!

My other favorites are:
Boma
Biergarten
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Cape May
Kona Cafe for breakfast

We eat at TE strictly for the convenience. Last time at the fort we did all take out from TE.

I see alot of Biergarten fans, is this a buffet? what do you like about it?

The Tonga toast at Kona is delicious. I liked the espn zone, but the last time we were there, it was waaaaaay overpriced, we'll never go back. BW3's in crossroads and Pizza uno are better.

I agree, TE is convenient.

We are mostly counter service people when we bring the kids (actually they are so picky that they usually eat PB +J that we bring along). But when it was just DH and I we really liked Raglan Road. Loved the atmosphere and the band and they had the best burger and drunk chicken! I'm taking my mom, aunt, and sis there in May. We're also going to try Kona for breakfast.
