What's your favorite snack at EPCOT? It doesn't have to be a DDP snack necessarily.

We had school bread for the first time last year and are now looking for some other new finds around WS (or FW).

Anything in France ... ham & cheese croissant, lobster bisque, creme brulee, chocolate mousse .... etc etc etc. heck you can make an entire meal out of their snack options. And if you're on the DP those 1st two items make great sense for either an early lunch or mid-day snack :yay:

I love to get a caramel pecan cluster and grapefruit beer in germany! Theres something oddly satisfying about the 2 together =]

Oddly enough, we have Les Halles on our itinerary as a CS lunch one day. Can't wait! We missed LH last year due to time constraints and it wasn't open yet on our previous trips.

I have several snacks that I really like in Epcot.
  • Caramel Corn (Karamel Kuche, Germany)
  • Cafe Liegeois (Les Halles, France)
  • Caramel Ginger Ice Cream (Lotus Blossom Cafe, China)
  • Troll Horn (Kringla, Norway)

Caramel Corn and Fresh Caramels (Germany)
Crepes (France - cart)
School Bread (Norway)

Strawberry Shortcake at Sunshine Seasons- its a tradition for me each trip!

Love the crepes from the crepe cart in France! They are so good but have not had them in a while. Will have to change that this year.

Love that Ice cream Brioche thingie at Les Halles! And the Caramel Corn at Karamel Kuche is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

Darn, now I'm hungry!

I'm partial to the strawberry tart at Les Halles. Every time I've had it, it's been very fresh (and it is actually bigger, and costs less, than the fruit tarts at the grocery store). Really, we haven't been disappointed by anything we've gotten at Les Halles (although we've always stuck to the desserts). I'm hoping their macarons are good, since I love macarons and can't usually find them where we live.

As others have said, everything we've had from Karamell-Küche has also been really good. My family and I usually get caramel apples in their many derivations. They're large, fresh, crisp apples; and when cut, are easy to share. (Much more satisfying than many of the sad little caramel apples you get other places.)

We're also looking forward to trying:

- School bread and lefse (Kringla Bakeri og Kafe);
- Kakigori (shave ice) and azuki strawberry and green tea ice cream (Kabuki Cafe);
- Green tea cheesecake (Katsura Grill);
- Tipsy ducks in love (drink from the China pavilion)

Pretty much anything from Les Halles. In particular, I love the ham and cheese croissant and chocolate mousse. Last time we tried an un-labeled blackberry chocolate deliciousness of some sort but I have no idea if it is still there. I also love the strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse cake at Sunshine Seasons. I always want to stop for gelato, or a gelato sandwich or martini but I never save room.

Les Halles bakery is delicious. My favorite desert there are the Napoleans... Mmmmm,Mmmmm,Mmmmmm!!!

Chocolate covered strawberries and champagne from France while watching Illuminations

Another vote for Germany. I always end up getting at least 3 different things before we go back to the hotel so I can have them later that night. We have not been to Les Halles in forever! This year I am making a point to go there at least twice - that Napoleon has my name written all over it :cloud9:

I vote for the crepes cart too. It is a must every time we visit DW. The strawberries and the vanilla ice cream on the crepes is the best way to have it.

-Raspberry Framboise, Chocolate Mousse, Macarons - pretty much everything at Les Halles
-Cloudberry Horn, Schoolbread at Kringla
-Brioche ice cream sandwich at L'Artisan des Glaces
-Caramel Corn at Karamelle Kuche in Germany

I'll add to the chorus - any pastry from Les Halles.....or ice cream next door.....or glass of Champagne in yet another shoppe in France. Sometimes, we stop in all three places and split a few things (never the Champagne).

Funny though, if we come from the Mexico-side of World Showcase (maybe for a tequila) after getting off Test Track, getting past a sweet from Germany is difficult, but we can make it to Tutto Gusto or Spice Table. However, when we start on the side beginning with Canada (after Soarin'), we end up wanting to snack so much in France, that we never make ADR's - we eat in France.

The savory food and sandwiches at Les Halles, in my opinion, are not as good as the pastries (because pastries are better, not because sandwiches are bad). So we grab a table in that alley between all the shoppe's before grabbing a fresh baguette and cheese and then add some ice cream and pastry into the mix....don't forget the wine.....and consider this immersive experience to be amongst our favorite at Epcot.
