It will be 4 of us, me, DH and 2 DS's ages 5 and 7. this will be our first Disney dining experience - Which one would you say is the most fun - it can be either in or outside parks. Just curious to see what you guys think!

Thanks!

We loved the meal with Cinderella and the step-sisters. I have older kids and they cracked up over those bratty sisters!:lmao:

Great Question! I look forward to seeing all the replies..

We went for the first time last September and we loved Crystal Palace, The characters were great, buffet was good... It was our first meal so maybe that had something to do with it too...

O'Hana's Breakfast was our favorite! We also loved Crystal Palace. We will be returning to both on our trip this September.:goodvibes
We are also going to do Cinderella and the Step Sisters at 1900 Parkfare and Chef Mickey's too...We <3 Character meals!

fun character meals: cape may breakfast, chef mickeys dinner (both good!)

meals in the park (that are cheaper than character meals): check out mama melrose in studios (tranny characters pop in sometimes, hilarious!), MK doesnt have too many good places to eat, but pecos bills has been best place we could find as far as quick counter service! epcot world showcase is always fun!!! we would have each member of our family find food from a different country, meet up, and share all our dinners. with little kids that might be difficult lol, our fav destinations were mexico's San Angel Inn and Rose and Crown in the UK. (while i've never been I head coral reef is fun).
There are many great places to eat in Downtown Disney as well. Good luck and enjoy.
Fun snacks you may want to try out: Dole Whip at Aloha Isle, Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hollow in MK, Ghiradelli in DD all delicious!

Crystal Palace! B/c I just love Winnie the Pooh! But I have so many favorites! Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, 1900 Park Fare, Teppan Edo, Brown Derby, Chef Mickey's, and Captain's Quarters at the Yacht Club! Yum this is making me hungry!

By far, Yak and Yeti. We had the kobe burger...omg the best thing I have every tasted. We had the deluxe food plan for a week and that is the meal I remember the most.

Our family's favorites are 'Ohana for dinner or Biergarten. We always have fun at those 2 places.:goodvibes

And, the food is consistantly good!:lovestruc

We loved dinner at O'Hana's.

I'm probably in the minority here but we weren't impressed by CRT for dinner.
The food wasn't that great and the only character we saw was Cinderella downstairs
where pictures were taken.

Dinner at Narcusies with my DH.
It was our honeymoon, Narcusies was recommended to us by a CM when I started making our reservations, she was wonderful and so helpful.

We got there on time and after ordering drinks at the bar, were seated pretty quickly.
We ordered the surf and turf.
Salad and bread came first, and then the fireworks started.
Our server asked us if we wanted to watch the fireworks, we said yes, and he sent us outside with our drinks, and told us our food would be ready upon our return.

We stood and watches the fireworks over the lagoon and nuzzled as any good co8uple on their honeymoon should.

When the show ended we went back to our table, the table had been reset, with fresh silver, our salads were re-chilled and the bread was piping hot.

The food was FANTASTIC! We even sent our compliments to the chief, who came to personally thank us at our table.

This was during the Year of a Million dreams. As we ate we noticed a couple sitting on the otherwise deserted balcony. We asked about the balcony and were told (felt more like let in on a secret) that the couple on the balcony was celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, and they had been given the “dream” of an anniversary dinner under the stars and fireworks. It still brings tears to my eyes to this day.

We are going back to Narcusies in may. I know it won’t be the same, but we will go ever time.

you guys are making me hungry! Great info so far - can not wait to see what everyone else has to say.:grouphug:

i have had a lot of good dining experiences at disney but my favorite restaurant would have to be crystal palace for dinner it is amazing the food is really good the atmosphere and the characters are amazing its winnie the pooh piglet eyeore and tigger

Our family loves Hoop Dee Doo...it is a must do everytime. WE also really enjoy Chef Mickeys and 50s Prime Time.

We went on our first trip in October. My guys still talk about eating at O'hana's, 50s Primetime and Pizza Planet.

They loved the food at the O'hana's and we couldn't believe all the meat they served(4 meat-eating guys including dh). We loved the dancing and the children's parade. It was a nice, fun atmostphere.

At 50's Primetime we had a blast. We still crack up at our waitress and what she did to my dh. The food was good too---but not the spinach!!;)

My middle ds won a DSi at the Pizza Planet and only spent $5!!! It was pizza and for a counter service meal not bad.

Whenever we go back will be visiting these places again!:lovestruc
