Dinner at Narcusies with my DH.
It was our honeymoon, Narcusies was recommended to us by a CM when I started making our reservations, she was wonderful and so helpful.
We got there on time and after ordering drinks at the bar, were seated pretty quickly.
We ordered the surf and turf.
Salad and bread came first, and then the fireworks started.
Our server asked us if we wanted to watch the fireworks, we said yes, and he sent us outside with our drinks, and told us our food would be ready upon our return.
We stood and watches the fireworks over the lagoon and nuzzled as any good co8uple on their honeymoon should.
When the show ended we went back to our table, the table had been reset, with fresh silver, our salads were re-chilled and the bread was piping hot.
The food was FANTASTIC! We even sent our compliments to the chief, who came to personally thank us at our table.
This was during the Year of a Million dreams. As we ate we noticed a couple sitting on the otherwise deserted balcony. We asked about the balcony and were told (felt more like let in on a secret) that the couple on the balcony was celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, and they had been given the dream of an anniversary dinner under the stars and fireworks. It still brings tears to my eyes to this day.
We are going back to Narcusies in may. I know it wont be the same, but we will go ever time.
