Never been to Teppan Edo, but I've been to LeCellier many many times, and I can recommend the creme brulee without hesitation. We get it every time!

Green tea pudding at Teppan Edo is out of this world! And all 3 of us in our family live for the maple creme brulee at Le Cellier.

That is my favorite too!! It is one of the only times I actually wanted to take a picture of my food! LOL! My kids love the picture of our "moose"

I'm further south than that. Right on MI/IN border. We had a downpour yesterday supposed to be rainy and cool this am but clear out and warm up a bit by trick or treat time. Hopefully any way or DS7 will not be happy.

Creme Brulee is like a custard. I've only had vanilla, but understand it also is made in butterscotch and that Le Cellier has it in maple. Sugar is applied on the top and it is torched at tableside when served. Very delicious!

Thanks for the heads up on the Creme Brulee- I'm not a custard a fan so I think I'll skip that one. What a small world- I live in Buchanan which is right next to Niles and I work in South Bend.

Le Cellier - We shared the apple crumb desert, chocolate mousse and maple creme brule. I thought the creme' brule was way too sweet. The choc mousse was cute and not too rich. The winner was the apple/rhubarb crumble. My husband asked for it warmed up and it was yummy with the ice cream on top.



Teppan Edo - I like all of the desserts here, even though none is to die for IMO. The choc ginger cake and green tea pudding were both light and refreshing on a hot day. My son grimaced at the pudding at first, but once he tasted it he liked it. The server also brought an extra bowl of soft serve ice cream out for my b-day. It seems like there is not much that can be "done to" soft serve, but this was really good. It was super creamy... better than any DQ I've had.
