What is your favorite brand of makeup or beauty product?

Prescriptives for skincare

Clinique for foundation

MAC for all other makeup. Love their lipsticks!

My make up is a mismash of products. I don't think any company does everything well.

The best concealer, by a mile, is YSL Touche Eclat. I think the combo of the quality product and brush applicator is the reason. The sell it at Nordstrom and I think the sell it on QVC too. It covers and blends REALLY well.

I use some Bobbi Brown, some MAC and some LORAC, but the must have is Maybelline Great Lash in Very Black. When I was modeling almost every make up artist I worked with used Great Lash. There are some more expensive brands I've liked, but I replace my mascara for sanitary reasons about every 3 weeks. Dumping a $4 half used tube is a lot easier than dumping a $20 tube.

I like a mishmash of brands as well.

Mascara-----Maybelline Great Lash in pink tube...a classic!
Foundation--Estee Lauder Double Wear....hides flaws and stays true all day
Blusher------Chanel...expensive but lasts forever
Powder------Chanel...great coverage
Eye liner-----Virtual Eyes..stays in place
Lipstick------MAC...love their colors and their names

I actually bought "The Bare Essentials" foundation and I have to admit that I'm a believer now! It's light and it seems to not irritate my skin so far! :D

I like cover girl waterproof mascara too.

I love Sephora.com, but most of the makeup is kind of expensive. I like Urban Decay, and some of the other places that they have too. :D

I used to be strickly Mary Kay for about the last 15 yrs. But Just before Christmas I had a makeover with a Bobbi Brown artist and I fell in love with her stuff.
I still use MK for everything but color. That I have switched to Bobbi and I have her hydrating eye cream. I also have some Clinique lipgloss that I love as well.
I have also just discovered we have 2 stores in my area called "The Costmetic Store". They sell Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Mac, Estee Lauder and more at a discount. The only catch is they don't carry the whole line. But if you're not in a hurry you can save alittle $$. :D
Thanks for the links and the book...I'll check them out!

If it is the Cosmetics Company Store, that is a store usually found in outlet centers that discounts all the lines owned by Estee Lauder Co. Yes, all those lines are (and more) are owned by Estee Lauder. There is one at the outlets in Sevierville, TN that we shop at sometimes, and there is one at the Orlando Premium Outlets, not far from DTD. That is the outlet with the Character Premiere store with merchandise from the parks.

I've been pretty loyal to Mac for a while but since I had this horrible allergic reaction (not sure to what) I am looking for something else. A lot of my friends use a tinted moisturiser from Smashboxx that I have every intention of getting.

I'll probablly also stop in on the Bobbi Brown counter while I'm there.

Someone mentioned matching foundations. That's my biggest problem with drug store brands, I never get the right shade. I'll buy drug store blush, mascara, eye shadows since I don't use that stuff a lot but there is nothing like going to the counter and having your skin matched and getting the right shades and conceiler for the problems you need to fix.

Over the years I've used Mac, Perscriptives, Clinique.

I really like the Origins "underware" eye shadow. Otherwise I haven't found any others I love.

I wear a mishmash, like 1stNoel and cadburysmom. Some of it's drugstore stuff (esp. mascara) and some of it's the high-end department store stuff. I love MAC (matte) and Urban Decay (sparkly) eyeshadows, Prescriptives foundations, Almay mascaras, and I'm a lip gloss/lipstick freak--any brand goes. My current favorite is Terra Tints lip balm in Blaze. It is awesome! I love Burt's Bees too.

I have Always used Avon
and for the past 7 years now, I have SOLD Avon as well
I AM my BEST customer !!! and with the discounts I get....

AWESOME !!!

You sell it? Thats why I've used it for so long. My grandmother sold it for 25 years. My mother sold it for 5 years and I sold it for one.

The discounts are so worthwhile.

Mac and Jane Iredale. Love the Iredale compact powder foundation.

I don't wear real face makeup, but I do use Estee Lauder "Bronzed Goddess" bronzer. It is such a natural looking glow, and it can be used all over, too. I sweep it all over my face, a little extra on the cheeks for blush, dust my shoulders and along my collarbones.

I usually just use that, some mascara, and tinted lipgloss...I think full facepaint ages you.

The Bare Minerals is the best I have ever used. I started using it about 3 years ago (foundation and mineral veil) and just love it. You never have to worry about blending and you never feel it on your face. Just last month I ran out of Mineral Veil and I couldn't get to the mall so I bought some Drug store brand that I used years ago to tie me over. Yuk! I never realized the fragrance that stuff has and how it feels. My face itched all day long. Back to Bare Minerals-never again will I let myself run out.

I must say im partial to the Covergirl line ;) But i swear by the liquid eyeliner by maybelline :)

I wear a mishmash of things like lots of other posters...
I have oily skin and then in winter it is still oily but will flake in some spots. Becuase of my oily skin, I can not , or at least haven't found, a moiturizer that works..AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could.

For cleansing, I use the purple colored containers by Oil of Olay.

For the same oily reason stated above, I have a hard time with foundation..right now I am using Cover Girl in a blue compact...a powder/powder foundation.

Blush is Clinique and Mary Kay right now

Eyeliners are Clinique, Almay (the one specific for brown eyes) and Avon

Eyeshadow are Mary Kay, Avon, Clinique, Almay (one specific for brown eyes)

Mascara right now is Avon, but my fave is L'Oreal Featherlash Waterproof..BEST I have ever tried and I have tried alot! I HAVE to wear waterproof because all others give me racoon eyes by midday!!!

Lipsticks are Avon, Mary Kay, Clinique....
Lipglosses by all above and also Estee Lauder Crystals....soooooo neat!

I know you may want to stick to one brand, I tried that, but that is soooo hard! I like certain lines for certain things. It would be GREAT if I could find ONE line that I like absolutely everything in....

I love Philosophy for skin care. My mom and I have rosacea, and it keeps our noses from being red. I love their Purity cleanser- it is really gentle. I also use the Hope in a Jar moisturizer and the On a Clear Day blemish cream. Sometimes, I use The Present, which is a "clear makeup." It can be used as a foundation primer or in place of foundation.
I love MAC eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss. I do also use several different drugstore brands of eyeshadow- I especially like Maybelline. I also have some Philosophy eyeshadow, but they are mostly good for neutral shades.
I have the Clinique Perfect Makeup for foundation, but I mainly use it as concealer on my nose. If it is a special occasion, I wear it all over, but mostly as concealer.
I love love love Graham Webb shampoo and conditioner. I color my hair, and I can honestly say that my hair is in the best condition ever for me. I have a great stylist who really knows what he is doing, and the Graham Webb products extend the life of my color. Plus, I don't have as many split ends or flyaways.
Sorry this was so long.
