My husband and I were discussing which area in each of the parks was our favorite and I started wondering how other people felt. Is there a certain area in each of the parks that just gives you an extra jolt of pixie dust? It can be as narrow as a ride, restaurant, or show, or as broad as Main Street or Future World. Where do you stand?

Me -
Magic Kingdom: Adventureland right under the sign as you enter from the hub. I love the music, the smells, the views, and knowing that a Dole Whip is just up the way on the right.

Epcot: German pavilion with the music, food, and cast members that are absolutely delighful

DHS: On The Great Movie Ride

Animal Kingdom: Camp Minnie Mickey - especially at Christmastime with the Christmas trees.

MK- I love walking out of the tunnel and onto Main Street in the morning. The characters all there and the view of the castle, I love it.

EPCOT - I really like the area by France where the steps are by the water. Something about that area, I don't know what it is.

Hollywood Studios - Walking through the que of Tower of Terror. Favorite ride

Animal Kingdom - Walking through Oasis to the bridge where you can see the Tree of Life.

This is a fun question!

MK: actually, it's the waiting area by the Mickey floral where you wait to see the Welcome Show. The Welcome Show is one of my very favorite things, so being in that area makes me happy.

EP: the area in Future World just in front of the Fountain of Nations. Love the background music in particular from that zone!

HS: the archway leading into the Animation area. I remember seeing it on my honeymoon in 1990. :)

AK: I love the Maharajah Jungle Trek. :) Anything along there is just fantastic.

MK - Tomorrowland. Just love that retro metro feel.
Epcot, Eating Fish and Chips and listening to British 60s pop/rock in the garden.
MGM. Hanging out in the garden and lobby of the ToT.
AK. Gotta love Asia and Everest.

Studios: Probably my favorite area of all of WDW is standing at the entrance to ToT and looking down Sunset Boulevard. Such an old Hollywood feel with the palms lining both sides, etc. Love it!

MK: Riding Transit Authority thru Tomorrow Land (Paging Tom Morrow . . . )

AK: The whole park!!! But if I had to pick one spot - the monkey ruins between Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest.

Epcot: The Kio pond in the Japan Pavillion.

OP - I'd second your MK favorite spot. I LOVE it there.

DHS - in front of the TOT.

Epcot - this is my favorite place in all of WDW, sitting in front of the Italian pavillion with a limoncello and my DH or friends. Second favorite is in front of France during Illuminations!

MK- Walking over the bridge into Adventureland...hearing the drums...then the smell of Dole Whips hits ya...seeing the Camel spitting and knowing the Piratespirate: are right around the corner.

Epcot - Walking inside to the Mexico pavillion.

AK - Walking past the Tree Of Life first thing in the morning on our way to our safari..:cool2:

DHS - The Pixar area of the Park - The scrabble board, the barrel of Monkeys and Toy Story Mania. :goodvibes

There are so many places but my main ones are

MK top of Main Street right as you go into the hub. All those options of where to go :)

EPCOT- I would have to go for Mexico. I just love the inside of the pavilion

DHS- outside of star tours with the ewok village and hearing the sounds from there always makes me giggle.

AK- the path that goes past the flights of wonder where there is a beautiful vista of the tree of life. And the maharaja jungle trek.

Great question! Unfortunately I am realizing I have a few for each park lol

MK - Sitting in the back of Casey's with a hot dog watching the old cartoons and Adventureland - I love the whole atmosphere. I have to admit I enjoyed just "being" there before they put in the Aladdin ride, but it still gives me a thrill as I go over the bridge. Oh and watching the parade from the area by the stocks in Frontierland and sitting on the porch at Aunt Polly's.

Epcot - Sitting at the tables outside the Patisserie in France, all of the UK and sitting on the benches between FW and WS.

HS - ToT...I love the theming, the waiting area outside, the whole experience.

AK - The bridge into the Africa section - where it says welcome to Harambe. And the train to Rafiki's planet watch.

M.K. - In frontierland, when you can just start to see splash mountain, especcially when one of the bands is playing outside.

Epcot - the Japanese pavilion. mitsukoshi is always bustling and the arcitechture is stunning. Also a good view of the rest of WS.

H.S. - the queue for TOT

A.K. - the section of pangani walking trails where you can see into the hippo enclosure. its amazing watching them swim right up.

MK: Pretty much the whole of Fantasyland, or anywhere in front of the castle. Also, standing upstairs by the train station looking out on the whole of Main Street. pixiedust:

Epcot: The fountains with the water that jumps from area to area...when I was a kid I was obsessed with that. Also, the sidewalk near the huge fountain, with the twinkly lights in the concrete.

AK: Walking across the bridge into Harambe with the Tree Of Life up ahead

HS: The area in between ToT and RRC - great rides on both sides and the RRC car up in the air

Great idea!

MK - Tomorrowland... I can't really explain why! I just love walking around that area, hearing the TTA go by, not being able to wait to hop on some of my favorite rides (Space Mountain, the Laugh Floor, Carousel of Progress and Buzz Lightyear - even though I'm terrible at it!)

Epcot - somewhere I've discovered and really grown to appreciate on my last few trips - the little garden area behind the UK pavillion... gorgeous and a hidden gem!

DHS - I agree with the OP... on the Great Movie Ride! Particularly when your right about to start and the cast member says "Ready when you are CB!". Close second is the area between Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster... the decision of "Which first?" is quite difficult!!

AK - an extremely specific location... in Asia looking straight at Everest from across the pond by the little temples. On a perfect day, it's such an awesome view!!!

MK - Tomorrowland. Just love that retro metro feel.
Epcot, Eating Fish and Chips and listening to British 60s pop/rock in the garden.
MGM. Hanging out in the garden and lobby of the ToT.
AK. Gotta love Asia and Everest.

I see we have quite similar interests!!!!

Great question! ... Though a little tough to answer lol. So many great spots!
MK: right in the middle of Main Street facing the castle
Epcot: the Fountain near Leave a Legacy and Spaceship Earth.
HS: Right beneath the Hat! Or in Fantasmic!
Animal Kingdom: Area near the Safari (:

Cool thread!

MK- The whole PotC area and ride! I love the darkness, sounds, and smells of it all.

Epcot - Maelstrom. Similar reasons, but I particularly love the area at end of the ride as you are getting off. So quaint feeling.

DHS- Getting on RnR. Takes me back to the days when I looooved Aerosmith.

AK - Oddly, I'm not crazy about this park and have only been once... But, the look of the tree is pretty magical. I'll have to get back soon and give it another feel.

MK - Adventureland. Anywhere in there as long as I'm holding a Dole Whip Float.
AK - Asia, the area between Kali and EE.
EP - Tough one. Probably Norway.
HS - Star Tours "Tatooine" area.

MK - I love riding the People Mover at night and seeing all the lights of Tomorrowland and the view of the castle.
EPCOT - The shaded eating area by Norway. It's great to get a School Bread and sit in the shade and relax.
HS - The displays of the life of Walt Disney. I love the history and seeing the artifacts that played such a large part in the creation of Disney World.
AK - The Gorilla area on the Jungle Trek.

Love this question!

MK - has always been coming around the circle when you get the first full view of the castle...but just came back last night and Be Our Guest took my breath away. It is Imagineering at it's finest!

HS - sitting in Rock & Roller Coaster in the moment of take off with the music completely surrounding you - what a rush!!!!

AK - as silly as it sounds it's Boneyard. My family spends about 45 minutes here each trip and has a blast playing hide and go seek or getting soaked. The joy on their faces is unmatched.

Epcot - so many gems here...I love World Showcase. Having a Rosa Regale in Italy's courtyard, the festivities inside Mexico's pyramid, listening to Off Kilter and finding new things in Mitsukoshi with my kids...love it all!

MK: The Partners Statue, for both DH & I this is our magical spot

Epcot: Spaceship Earth

DHS: at night time when all the buildings are lit up on Hollywood Blvd & Sunset Blvd. Love that!
