What is Your Family's Ideal Number of Days at Disney?

Ideally, 7 nights and 8 days. That's two days in each park if you count the travel home day because we leave pretty late. But for the last few trips we've done 5 nights and 6 days just because we couldn't afford to go every two years if we tacked on more days. It's a bit hectic, but what can you do? I have to save for a year to even afford the six days.

13-14 is perfect for us, enough time for everything plus parties and not rushed. I'd never leave if I could! Under 10 is way too short for us. But we don't get to go every year.

7 nights-8 days. Shorter stays feel too rushed. I can tour in that amount of time without getting rushed.

9-10 years once every 18 months is our sweet spot

One time we we stayed 7 nights and felt like we needed another few days. Felt a bit rushed.

9-10 years sounds just about perfect to me. But so far I have been unable to convince DH or anyone else to fund it.

So we settle for 5-6 nights, 1-3 times a year or so. It is hard for us to stay longer than that because we typically get job/school breaks in one week intervals, and we need a day before to get ready and a day after to adjust back.

I prefer shorter, more frequent vacations. Always gives me something coming up soon to look forward to. We also take other vacations to the beach and/ or the mountains.

We don't have kids, so it's just myself and my husband. We usually do 4-5 days once a year, sometimes every other year. It is plenty for us - one day in each park and a pool/Downtown Disney day. I'm sure when we have kids and more of the kid friendly rides and shows in the parks appeal to us, we will stay longer :)

Our average length of stay is 10 or 11 days. With that, we have time to get to all the WDW parks multiple times go to Universal 2-3 times and cover everything we want to see and do. We try to incorporate attractions that we did not see last time or ones that we list as seasonal (Star Wars Weekends and Christmas related events). For the last few years, we have been fortunate enough to go on 3 or 4 trips a year. So over a month of each year is spent at WDW!!

It's a very relaxing way to wrap up the summer. A short stay would be too hectic.

I think the shortest time we've ever stayed is 4 days and the longest has been 10, but my ideal length would be about 20 days. That way we could do things more gradually but still do our favorite things as many times as we want and try a few things we haven't but have wanted to!!

Are normal vacations are about 10-14 days.

Disney seems to be 5 - 7 days and then we leave and spend a couple of days somewhere else.

Actually we or I have never ridden the magical express to Disney or from Disney. This trip I will get to ride De to the resort for 5 nights, they convinced me to spend 2/3 nights at universal

We go about once every two months. So we're normally there for about 3-4 days. Think the longest we've done is 5

If we had the extra money to spend on a hotel and could get out of work for that long, I'd like to do a 7 day one.

An 8 day trip was a bit much for us once. Often 5-6 is perfect (with us as often yearly Disney people) but a factor is we are leaving pets at home that we are anxious to get back to...

My ideal would be 10 and my husband's is 5 (because let's face it, in his opinion money is the most important factor...) we meet in the middle and will do 7 nights. Still not enough in my opinion but it's better then 5.
If I could get him to go every year or every other year I might be willing to go less time.

Eight days is what works best for us. However, our next trip is only three nights and the one after that we are planning on 11 nights. It'll be weird to change things up!

14 nights.....usually 3 times in one year, then skip a year and go to DLR
Sometimes we will only do 7 nights and also do a 7 night cruise.
Air is too expensive not to stay for awhile

Usually 14 nights every year. That gives us plenty of time to tour at a relaxed pace and sometimes visit other area attractions. :rolleyes1

We recently bumped our park days from 8 to 9, once we did 11 and the last 2 felt like a job, believe it or not.
