What is with the "mystery pin?"

What is going on with the mystery pin? It is almost driving me more crazy then waiting for FD! I mean, at least with the FD rumors, I know what I am waiting for! The mystery thing is just crazy! It just makes me think that I am going to have to do more math! (Did I mention I hate math!)

I am a teacher, and she told me for the rest of the school year, we should just do "Disney math" for practice. She said planning my trip could be a huge project for my students. They need to figure out the best bang for my buck!

Anyway, anyone gotten any hints as to what it is?

someone on here mentioned that a CM told them that it was a % off room code. Not sure how acurate that is but its all Ive heard so far! It is available tomorrow right?

I have heard/read that also, one CM told me it would be available Thursday, and the one I spoke with today said it will be later this week. So, I guess I will be calling back tomorrow. Although, if it is going to be sent out tomorrow, should be in the email after noon? WDYT?

I have one too! The CM told me to call back at the end of the week, but she wouldn't/couldn't tell me anything more about the pin, just that it was in my name and not a public offer. So I guess I will be calling tomorrow if FD is offered to see if I can get it added to the cabin reservation I have. I don't really need FD, as I would prefer to do the meals in the cabin...but hey if its free and I can't get any other discounts I will take it! Then I will be calling back on Friday to see if there is any more info on this mystery pin.
A room discount would be wonderful! But I am not holding out hope! We will be going regardless of FD or a room only discount, so whatever is offered (if anything) will be great!
Time will tell, but man, it sure is hard waiting!!!!!!!

Sorry I don't have any other info...just wanted to let you know I was in the same boat!

I called back tonight to ask a different question, and of course had to ask about the mystery pin again, I figured, new person, might find out more. He put me on hold for a long time, came back and said that I need to call back on the 3rd, or 5th to get the code info., and that I will definitely be saving some money! Yeah for that, however, what is up with this. I can't wait to see what it is!

I called earlier this week and asked if I had a pin attached to my household, other than the one I have that I can't use for my travel dates. They said I have one, but they are not sure what it is yet, as marketing hasn't sent it out yet, but that I definitely have one. To call back and get theinfo. in a couple of days.

Last year I got a free dining pin on April 30th that covered the rest of the year. It was on a Thursday and I called and booked to go the week before Thanksgiving. I found out the next day I was very unexpectedly expecting and due in December so needless to say I had to call and cancel.

I have the 25/30/40 pin but would LOVE free dining again.

I've changed my ressies a few times in the past couple days...first to FD...then to 30% off room rate and I've checked back about that mystery pin both times. I was told that it expires by August 14...so it wasn't any good to me since I am traveling Aug 18-25! I forgot to ask what it was even for since it wasn't any good for my dates! Sorry thats all the info I have!

I just called and CM said it should be available tomorrow morning-- and the emails should go out tomorrow. Said that she had already checked on this for another guest earlier and talked with Guest Services. She can see that it is on the account now-- she said they made a big mistake "dropping those in" early. She said that it was a Room Only % discount and would be for more than the standard % currently out for the before Aug 14th time frame.

Sorry, I should have explained more. I am trying to book a trip for my mother in July- so this would be a discount for those going BEFORE Aug 15th-- and should be greater than the current % off that is available to the GP for that same time (in my case current is for 15% off at the Values and would love to get to 20-25% with the PIN)

. My trip in my siggy is different-- I am already booked for FD in August but she can't go during that time. (I had to impersonate my mom on the phone to get the information )

Both of my parents received a pin this morning in separate emails for travel through Aug 14th. It was 20 off value, 25 off mods, 30 off deluxe and 35 off deluxe villas. Was for room only, unfortunately, we are already booked, and traveling in Dec and won't be able to use it. I think this is about the 3rd or 4th pin they both have received since the beginning of the year. 2 were for free dining, one quick service, and the other regular plan through october. The other two were the progressive percentages off of room only stays. I'm praying they get some more good ju ju for our travel dates since are paying rack rate for a deluxe 2BR. Ugghhhh...the thought of rack rate makes me sick.

I think this is the pin that I got and booked with yesterday. It was a "summer nightastic" themed email. It was good for bookings through may 17th for travel on June 4th through august 15th.
