What is with the fares from NY to MCO for Feb?

Wow, what is with the high fares from JFK and LGA to MCO for the week of Feb 18! $892 nonstop. Have the gods gone crazy?

Anyone know when Jet blue will release its Feb. fares? Maybe they will help put an end to this nonsense!

I actually booked thiese dates 330 days in advance to get a good fare.

You should also check Spirit. We flew with them, this year President's week & got the fare for 99.99 each way non stop.

I go every year & the prices are always very high. I am very happy with 200.00 round trip.

Schools are closed that week.

I'm hopping to take a RCCL cruise during Presiden'ts week 2008. The cruise rates are great. However, I know the airfare will be awful.

WOW.... all i have to say is don't buy those lol. Its too far in advance Im sure they will go down . We always fly during busy times and have some how always managed to get decent fares. I always check and keep checking, airfares change min to min. Have you looked at EWR we flew Continental for 69 each way during spring break. I would also wait and see SW or watch for jetblue.

I know that as soon as Southwest posts those fare from Long Island/Islip they will be gone too for that week. Nothing screams Florida like Mid Winter School Vacation!!
