What IS This?

This is driving me crazy.

I've been to World Showcase more times than I can count and I can't figure this one out.

On this map, there is a long white corridor type building behind the UK in World Showcase. What IS that? I can't recall anything that would look like that and in some maps, it's not even present.

Anyone know?

When we were at WDW in 1999 and 2000, they housed the Milennium Village in there. They had 5-10 extra countries exhibiting movies, rides, shows and foods from their country. It was a really great supplement to the WS at Epcot.

It's not showing up in the guide, because it is not longer open to the general public. It is now a place that they hold special meeting and parties at. Corporations can now rent it out for their gatherings.

Ah. Well you can see the building on the map in the 2006 guide. It's just not labeled. But you have now answered my question. Thanks!

They will sometimes have the Mother's Day brunch there along with Food and Wine Festival Parties and events in that building as well.

The building is named : The World Showplace. It also acts as the location for the Party for the Senses during the F & W Fest.
