What is there to do at Wide World of Sports?

Can anyone tell me what is there to do at the Sports Complex. I think its one of the options on your ticket but what is there for children to do.

I just returned from a week long stay at POR and everyday on the whats happening at WDW channel that complex was closed....
Maybe its open only on the weekends because I didnt notice on Sat and Sun of my stay...

The Atlanta Braves Spring training camp is there. AAU (amature athletic union) usually hold tournaments there. They have baseball, soccer, basketball, football (not sure if there is tennis). There are also karate tournaments as well. There is an area where the kids can go in & play (sport like play area). Most do not go here unless they have someone playing in a tournament or they are going to a game.

Only times we have been there was to pick up race packages or to watch a race finish or go by. On non-race days, I really didn't see much of anything to do.

We play the biggest Paintball tourniment in the World there in OCT.Most things on the outer fields are free and if something is not going on then there's not much to do.

We're going to the Cardinals vs. Braves game in May. I'm just as psyched to see them play as I am to go to WDW.

Not much unless there is spring training. The place was like a ghost town when DH and I visited the park in August 2004. We'll never stop by again.
