What is the Worst thing or Most Embarassing thing that Happened to you in Disneyland?

Actually, the worst thing that happened to me was when I became violently ill after eating at a restaurant outside the park. I was up all night "bowing down to the porcelain god", plus I was laid up in our hotel room for most of the following day. All I can say is it REALLY SUCKED.

I have a funny one to share or so we thought it was funny. The one thing is that this was at WDW not DL but still Disney and still very funny.

I was on a trip to WDW with my father, stepmother, and little sister (who at the time was 5 years old) as well as my family DH, DD10, DD12.

Anyhow we had a long day at Epcot and we were walking along the Boardwalk area of Disney's Board Walk Resort and I was walking right next to DH and my little sister was walking right infront of us.
As we were walking we went to pass by a man who had his back turned to us and was off to the right of DH and I and my little sister who was walking infront of DH and I. Just as my little sister was walking by him the man decided he was going to bend over (for what I do not know) but when he did his bottom was inches from my little sisters face and level with her face as well and she just stopped mid walk and looked at him and pulled her right fist back and let him have her fist in his bottom!!! LOL:rotfl: I know it's bad to laugh at this but still it was so funny!!! The even funnier part of it was of course the guy jerked and stood straight up after getting it in the b**t but we had pushed my little sister on and of course who does the guy see when he turns around is my DH who is 6ft 4in tall....so of course that made me laugh even more:rotfl: I almost peed my pants because I was laughing so hard.
It was embarassing but also very funny. I guess the man picked the wrong little girl to bend over infront of.
By the way my dad and stepmom did apologize as they walked by him but he still looked puzzled as if trying to figure out what really happend.

My little sister still remembers this and she is now almost 8 so I tease her and my dad and stepmom every time we get on the subject of Disney!

I really wish I had the moment on video because I think it could win America's funniest home videos.
Anyhow I just though I would share this story as this seemed to be the thread to do it on.

UGH. this happened to me after eating the monte cristo. NEVER AGAIN.

Something similar happened to me; Dakota_Lynn, one night while we were at Disneyland we all decided to eat dinner at the Riverbell Terrace. While we were in line a middle-aged man cut in front of everybody and started to yell at the servers behind the counter saying that the bred bowl his soup had come in tasted stale. Can you believe that? The woman calmly told him that the bowl was made of sourdough and if he wanted to complain he would have to come back later when the manager would be there. But he wouldn't listen; he kept yelling at the woman (almost like it was her fault for him not liking his bread) she started to get annoyed and toold him to stand aside and she would talk with him later. He walked outside but not without making a HUGE scene. After we had our food and sat down my dad whispered to me that he had scene that man take the empty bread bowl off of the trash can.

Same here, Cappo cart. This lady got some peppermint latte from some stores and came up to the Cappo cup asking for an exchange. Ofc, ODV and stores are different as we do not even carry peppermint flavor shot. So the vendor say in nce words, "Im sorry ma'am, if you want a new coffee, you have to go back to the store that sold it to you as the department isnt the same."

So guess what the lady does. She takes the coffee and POOOOOOORS it all over the napkins, sugar, and creamer. and just walks away. Felt like throwing 160 degree milk at her. :\

I think that it is funny that people will spend $50-80.00 to get into DL and then do the craziest things to save money.

WOW. Some people...

After my midterms last quarter, I took the train down from SB to Anaheim to go spend the day there (Rainy Super Bowl Sunday).

After a couple hours, I realized that this was the worst day to do it: I was sick, painfully sick.

So I had to cut my "Spa Day" short and hang out in the Amtrak station for the rest of the afternoon while I waited for my train.

Rides I went on:
Indiana Jones
Matterhorn
Splash Mountain

Rides I wanted to go on but had to miss:
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
BTM
Space Mountain
Tower of Terror
Soarin' Over California
California Screamin'

And I would have gotten away with it too were it not for that awful gastritus!

So, I return to DLR this Wednesday with my family and two bottles of 150 mg Zantac. I'm armed and ready if that terrible villain rears its ugly head again.

Our 4th day there in Feb was a MM. I was pretty exhausted, but was trying to play it off like I was happy go lucky and just fine. I was pushing ds 3 and dd 7 months in the double stroller and went to pop the stroller up on the curb right in front of the castle, and OOPS! my legs just went out from under me. I was down on one knee and didn't have the omph to push them up, so here I am holding a double stroller up as to not scare the crud out of the kids and I can't move. In the meantime, dh either doesn't realize what is happening or thinks I've got it as he is just standing there about 10 ft away just watching me. One of the CM's comes over and asks me if I need help, and about the time he does that, MIL comes over and helps me out. By this time I've put both knees down on the wet pavement (it had just gotten done raining earlier that morning), and gave the stroller a good push and MIL caught it. The CM helped me up and I looked around thankful that only two other CM's were around. It only took a few seconds, but I was a little shakey after that, lol. Dh later apologized for not helping me out saying he didn't realize what was happening. I would have been 20x more embarrassed if the park had been full, thank goodness for MM!

Splash Mountain killed my cell phone last week in Disneyland.

I stupidly put it in an outside mesh pocket of my backpack as we were trying to board Splash Mountain with fastpasses. Considering my daughter got absolutely soaked when we went on it last year, I should have known better.

After we got off the ride it wouldn't work. I walked over to a payphone in New Orleans Square by the bathrooms to call my boyfriend and let him know my phone wasn't working but that he could expect us back at his hotel in a few hours. Using my credit card I received a message that the call would cost my $3.50. At the exact moment my boyfriend's voicemail picked up a band walked right by us. I yelled into the phone (I apologize to anyone around me who was trying to enjoy the band I am usually much more polite) but I didn't want to have to pay for another $3.50 phone call.

I finally got part of my keyboard working and was able to dial out but my boyfriend couldn't hear a thing I was saying. Luckily there was an AT&T right across the street from our hotel and I got a replacement phone the next morning before we drove back to Tucson.

My mom's is that she hates Space Mountain but she keeps going on it.

First time was when I was a little kid and I hated rollercoasters (that has since changed). I was about 7 or 8 and refused to go on. My younger brother wanted to go on and my mom was worried he would be scared so she went with him. My dad stayed with me and we had a good time getting ice cream. When they found us after the ride my brother was yelling "that was so much fun!" and my mom looked like she was going to be sick and she swore to never go on again.

Second, she took my niece who wanted to go on, she forgot which one she didn't like and went on again! And felt sick afterwards again.

Third, she took my cousins, same story, they wanted to go on, she forgot what the ride was. At this point it was pretty comical.

She and I went about 9 years ago and I wanted to go on (my first time) and I was very careful to explain to my mom what ride we were going on and that she has not liked it. She was fine...I think it was knowing what she was getting into rather than being surprised during the ride.
