What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

gigli1.gif

I was surprised nobody had mentined this one yet...is it because nobody actually saw it?? :lmao:

OH! I forgot about Miami Vice with Colin Farrell and Jamie Fox.

I'm not sure what I expected, maybe Bad Boy's. But I swear that was a snoozer!!

I agree with POC- I could not finish POC it was sooo bad. And I had been looking forward to it. Moulin Rouge I never tried.

Pulp Fiction is another horrible movie.

Are ya'll talking about Pirates of the Caribbean??? Bad???

I love those movies :lovestruc

OMG! I 100% agree with that. I think that movie was just about the scenery or something 'cause I had NO clue what the heck it was about.

I've really been enjoying this thread. I've worked part time at a movie theater for years and we have this discussion often. We had to come up with a rule though that we could never say a movie that we went to see expecting to be bad or a dude - alas I was never able to say Leprechan.

One of my friends is insistent that the worst movie ever is "Eight Heads in a Duffle Bag". Whenever I throw in my nominees he reminds me that the heads sang in the bag. :rotfl:

I think I was one of the few people in the world to detest "Jerry Maguire". I couldn't get past the fact that the Renee Zellweger character would up and quit her job with benefits when she had a young child to take care of. I spent the whole movie going - what an idiot.

I also hated "Closer". They kept billing it as a love story for adults, but I found nothing about that movie that said love. Awful, just awful.

My most hated movie of all time though was Drowning Mona. I went with a bunch of friends and we were all in awe of how bad it was. I always think of it as that stupid movie where everyone drove Hugos. Honestly that should have tipped me off right off the bat. I think most people had the good sense to skip it.

Dune

Waterworld

mad max at the Thunderdome

dead Calm

Salems Lot ( scritch scritch scritch *shudder*)

Also pretty much anything with Jack Black, Will farrell, and anyone of that ilk.

oh I have seen some doozies.

mad max at the Thunderdome

How dare you!

It's Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome :furious:

Anything with Dane Cook is garbage. He's the Family Guy of actors and comedians.

LOL see? I hated it so much that I forgot the real name!

Honestly, I used to loove Mel but this movie was horrible IMHO.

But but but... It has Tina Turner and a midget riding a giant with down syndrome!

well then.... I might reconsider.....ummmm.... nope. sorry :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know its strange, its one of those things I could just never get into. :confused3

That's okay. We can at least agree that Rocky IV was the greatest movie evar!

Megaforce is actually the greatest movie but it's too good to even be on a list. God himself is responsible for this movie.

Flesh for Frankenstein.

It's on right now. Awful.

Sooo many that I absolutely agree with on this thread and a few that I actually liked that others obviously didn't, but a few that come to mind for me:

Natural Born Killers...seriously it might have been good if I had been stoned out of my mind, but, alas, I wasn't. ;)

Vanilla Sky, Eyes Wide Shut, The Last Samurai...okay, let's just make this easy...anything with Tom Cruise in it EXCEPT Collateral (which I did actually like; he's more convincing as the "bad" guy for some reason...hmmm)

And this will probably cause a few heads to explode since I know others love it but the ONLY movie that I have not been able to at least sit through all the way to the end is...

Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp. I HATED that movie and dh and I finally gave up. We even tried to watch it another night and still couldn't get halfway through it. This is saying a lot since I am another one that feels like I have to see how it ends even when it is bad. I just couldn't sit through this one. Sorry!

I finally watched this again over a decade after my last bong rip and I must say it was terrible.

1. Myra Breckinridge
2. Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo
3. Staying Alive
4. Glenn or Glenda

Crapola!

Just wanted to say...The Fifth Element, Contact, and Dune...I loved those movies and own them all.

Now there are lots of bad movies out there. Batman and Robin was one...George Clooney as Batman? Sorry that does not jive. I agree with Waterworld...just plain bad. And almost anything with Adam Sandler...though I loved 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer.

The one and only movie DH & I ever walked out of was The Cable Guy (with Jim Carrey). That was an awful movie!

My Best Friend's Wedding (some "friend"-Julia Robert's character turned out to be a real witch!)

Meet the Parents (c'mon-would anyone really let their parents treat their prospective bride/groom that way?)

QUOTE]

The only part in my best friends wedding that i liked was the song they did while sitting around the table--that was the only part of the movie I liked LOL...

Meet the parents was good- I know people whos future in laws were like that!!.

I also HATED jerry McGuire - I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bored by the whole thing and I wanted him to fail and I wanted the stupid sports guy to get an injury so bad that he couldn't play anymore ever.

And I saw Closer on HBO - did they really bill it as a love story for adults? I didn't really think it was a love story. More a depressing pile of ka-ka.
