what is the week before Thanksgiving like...crowds etc?

We are planning on going Nov. 12 -19 this year. Hoping the crowds won't be too bad this week since before Thanksgiving? Do they usually have any kind of discounts that week?

On our 2015 trip over Thanksgiving, we arrived a few days the week before for free dining, and the crowds were great! We rode a lot of the rides that I already had fast passes for. Then Monday of Thanksgiving week came and things changed majorly!

we were there those dates last year. crowds were not too bad. FD did not start until November 15th so the first few days were less busy. We had an exclusive deal with a TA.

The weekdays are fabulous, but the weekends can be crowded. Last year, the first weekend of your trip saw the end of F&W (definitely avoid Epcot World Showcase that Saturday!) and Veterans Day crowds. The 2nd weekend the Thanksgiving crowds begin to arrive. But, it is still a great time to go!

We went 13-20 last year (Sun-Sun). The weather was perfect and the crowds were low. We went just 60 days later for MLK weekend, and boy did it make us yearn for the quiet of November!

Done 2x, in 2012 and 2016. Hit the last weekend of Food and Wine which made Epcot quite crowded. The rest of the week was great.

WE are staying the 10-17. I am expecting Epcot to be crazy that last weekend of F and W, but excited about lower crowds overall!
