What is the transportation like at CSR?

What has been your experience with the buses @ CSR? Have you had to wait a long time? Do many busses pass you up because they are full? Staying here for the first time in August - transportation is my main concern. Thanks

I stayed at CSR last May. I thought the bus service was fantastic. We didn't have to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a bus and most of the time it was shorter than 10 minutes. Since you don't share a bus, there was never a time when a bus just went on by without picking us up. I think one night when we were leaving Pleasure Island, there was like 4 people on the bus. When I stayed at the WL in December the bus system was not as efficient. We had t pick up people from the GF or Ft. Wilderness. Sometimes we didn't arrive at our destination until 45 minutes later. Good thing we were not on a time schedule. Don't worry about the transportation at CSR. The place is great. I love that resort!!

Been to CSR 7 times and never had any issues with the transportation. I think it is great.

The transportation was great when I stayed there in May 2002. I never waited long, excpet once, and that was because I had just missed the bus that was going to the park I was going to. Even then, the wait was about 20 minutes, if that.

We stayed during Easter week. We had no problems with the bus service. We stayed in Casitas 5 and had a short walk to bus stop 2. MK was crowded and open to midnight during our stay and the bus service was quite good, I think the longest we waited was 10 minutes when the bus driver could not get the back door closed after he used the wheelchair lift. I would stay at Coronado again.
We checked in on 4/9 and there was a tow truck convention on site. These rigs are hugh and there were hundreds of them parked in the CS parking lots especially in the Casitas section. It didn't effect the bus service, but it did effect the parking for a few days.

When we stayed at CS in '99, it was great! We were there the third week in August and very often we had the whole bus to ourselves! It was never ever full, everyone always had a seat.
