Is it worth the effort to go and see or should we forget about it?

As I understand it, this attraction is now closed permanently.

So, it was that good then? :lmao:

Okay, thanx for the information. We have maps for all parks, but they are a year old which doesn't help.

Hi!
I just got back yesterday and the Timekeeper attraction is no longer there. (IMHO not a huge loss!) Enjoy your trip!

Every time we go it's closed and character's are there. I also heard it was closed, and my daughter just told me she heard rumors, the monsters inc. themed attraction may go there.

Indeed, your daughter is correct. :thumbsup2

As it is now, I believe it will open early next year as "The Laugh Factory (or Floor) " a Monsters Inc attraction in the style of Turtle Talk with Crush

I always liked this one.....am I the only one that's a little sorry to see it have to go? :guilty:

i'm also sad to see it go, and espically sad to see it replaced by a now attraction that uses characters from a movie

Nope, I'm sorry to see it go also. I always enjoyed seeing it.

No offense, but welcome to the Magic Kingdom. I think you'll find that at some level, most attractions there are based on at least one character from a movie.

Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Small World, Jungle Cuise, Pirates, CoP.

I agree, too many now are simply a promotion of a movie and to extend it.

Remember, Pirates now has Johnny

I agree, you wouldn't be missing much by not getting to see the Timekeeper.

Isn't that kind of the point of WDW... theme parks and attractions based on characters from cartoons and movies? Mickey Mouse was a character from a cartoon long before he was the head cheese at WDW.

I was sad to hear it was closed. I always enjoyed it. The way they made the robot have Robin Williams mannerisms as well as his voice was mesmerising to me. It always made me laugh when he would say "hey, you with the goofy, hat, don't sit on the handrails". Obviously, it doesn't take much to amuse me but it was a really good show.

I was a huge Timekeeper fan, I'm really going to miss it.

And no, the point of the Magic Kingdom was NOT to be an ad for the cartoon characters and the movies. when the park first opened you would have been hard pressed to find a handful of "ad" rides.
