What is the price of gas down east?

We are paying 1.05 a litre right now in Calgary at the Superstore with 7 cents a litre back. We were in Radium Hot Springs this weekend and paid 1.24 a litre

We're paying 97.6 (+/-) here in my part of eastern Ontario.

We paid as much as 1.23 in Nova Scotia recently.

The price of self serve regular gas as of today is $1.02 cents a litre.

I actually saw 92 cents at the grocery store gas pump today....scary when you think that is a good price!

$105.5 here in Halifax...... WOW 7c/litre back at Superstore? We only get 3c back a litre out here!

I think it's 102.9 here in PEI... gas just went down last night... strange IRAC regulations. Be Happy to get anything back at your Superstore in Halifax, our Superstores aren't allowed to have gas! Our little Co-op gives 1c back.

I forgot about the Min & Max pricing for gas out east... we don't have that regulated in Ontario, but when you look at the pricing - has it really helped? makes you wonder...
DH said he heard that some price fixing in the states (don't know specifics) were identified & charges were pending...

Sometimes it helps, but it usually doesn't. It takes a little longer for the price to go up, but a lot of times it takes longer for it to go down too! They are SUPPOSED to only change the prices on the 15th and then at the end of every month, but they will do "emergency" changes- usually to put the price up. Islanders usually find the gas prices cheaper off Island than on the Island.

As soon as the local news started posting about how cheap gas was down east they dropped the price of gas by almost 20c a litre here. In some places it is finally below a buck a litre.
