Have booked a MYW package at SSR from 8th Dec for 8 nights. I notice on my invoice it said I had 1 Photo Movie DVD included along with the Planet Hollywood and Golf voucher. Just wondering what it is exactly. Thanks

The photo movie can be ordered from the photopass CD of pictures you can have taken at all of the different parks. We were under the impression that it was the photopass CD we were receiving free, but actually it is the movie which is a $50.00 value. Even if you don't want to purchase the CD you can get the photo movie free but be sure you get a promotional code. It was very difficult for us to get one as there wasn't a voucher in our reservation papers.

I was a little confused by the difference. Thanks for clearing that up Disney Grandma. I understand the photopass card you get to have photographers take your picture, I just don't understand how I take that card and do anything with it, besides bring it to the photo shop at Disney and pay for the pictures. Can I do something from home? If I am sucessful in getting the code or voucher at Checkin can I do all of this from home? Thanks!

Also did you have the minature golf on your package? Just curious about that?

Portugal1000 didn't mean to hijack your thead! I had asked this a few days back and still was kinda blurry about it!

I have the photo movie with our package as well. Do I order the photo movie online with a code given to me or is this done somewhere at Disney before we leave? Thanks for any help, I am just a little confused about this.

HI
I made a photo movie DVD last year from our trip last August. It is so cute. We love watching it. You don't have to have photopass to get this. You just upload your pictures to your computer and go into the photopass site and it gives you directions to make the movie. It was $50.00 for the first movie and I think $20. for each additonal DVD. I'm hoping it works the same this year. I also got the free movie for this coming Decembers trip in my package and am going to make another movie.

So I can use pictures we take ourselves, plus the photopass pictures if I choose?

Thanks for the info!

I didn't know you could make the movie with pictures you take yourself. If you have pictures taken by the photo CD people, the first one you get will give you a card and then add all your pictures to that card. On the back is a number and when you get home you go on the website and can look at all of the pictures. You can also add Disney borders to them at no additional charge. It's fun to look at them once you are home and can take the time to go through them, crop and edit and add whatever borders you want in addition to just the regular pictures. I know I cropped some of ours off because I didn't want my legs in every picture!.

I have been back 2 weeks and was supposed to get this with my package as well. No one could tell me how to order it - not anyone in concierge at the Poly, and no one at Disney reservations.

That sounds like a great deal. Does everyone get that included in their packages? I don't see it on mine.

Yes, this was a HUGE pain to figure out!!! We were at the Poly 9/7-17 where I asked at the concierge desk about this movie (they did not say anything to me about it at check in - I just happened to remember it was part of the package)....
1. First CM said I needed to go to a photopass/kodak booth at one of the parks to get it. I waited in line at the MK photo shop for a while (LOOOOONG line), then decided it wasn't worth it. I'd try to get it some other way.
2. My next attempt was to go to the photopass booth at the GF. I told them that I was told by the Poly CM that I needed to get the code to order this from the photopass/photo shop people. They told me no, they could not give it to me. Told me to go back to the Poly front desk, that THEY should be able to pull up the promotion code as it was connected to my ressie.
3. Back to the Poly concierge desk - found a helpful CM that seemed to know a *little* more about this, and tried to pull up the code for about 15 minutes. (After a trip to the back office) Said he was unable to pull up the code (computer problems) and gave me a phone number for the photopass guest relations. Told me to call them to get the code.
4. Got home and called that number a few days later. Voicemail - said they'd call back asap. 2 days went by, they called me back but didn't leave the code. ugh. Gave me their number and said to call back again.
5. I called again and got the voicemail (never got a live person, always voicemail) and this time asked someone to call me back and please leave the code - I gave them my name, ressie number, dates I was there and my resort.
6. Finally got a call back a couple days later with the code. Once I got the code it was a piece of cake to order, but it took a LOT to get that code. I'm so glad I kept with it because my movie is so neat (used both photopass and my pix) and I can't WAIT to get it!!!

I don't have the number anymore, but google photopass to get it. It's a 407 number, and if you get a live person just explain the situation. Tell them you need the photopass guest relations #. Good luck!

Hi
I didn't have any photopass pictures. I didn't use photopass. I only had the pictures that I took with my own camera. They also have pictures on the photomovie site that you can choose, so you can use them, photopass if you used that and your own pictures. I hope this helps you. It was fun to make the movie.

That is so cool thank you for sharing!

your welcome. I would share the video I made but it is 90 minutes long.
i took about 1000 pics while I was there.

I am so glad you asked about this b/c I was wondering the same thing, but don't think I would have gone to all the trouble of trying to get an answer about where to get it. Now, I definitely will. That is so awesome! What a great memory from your trip to have.

FOUND THE NUMBER on my cell phone (brilliant)!!!! Once you get home from your trip, you should call Photopass guest relations at 407-560-6068 to get the code to order your photomovie.
You'll most likely get a voicemail - leave your name, number and your reservation number. I asked them to please call me back and leave a message with the offer code.
Good luck all! They really are very much worth the time and effort.
