What is the new reserve your spot in security line at MCO?

I got a message to reserve a spot for MCO. Should I do this or has anyone done this? Thanks for any info.

I haven't, it's been running in a couple airports for a while now. If you don't have pre it might save some time, I don't really see a downside but I don't believe you can use it if you have Pre.

i did the Clear invite when we returned on 11/8/2021 MCO to EWR. Worked fine until we got to the tsa rows and they sent us to the regular
tsa instead of pre-check. I wasn't paying attention because I thought Clear was TSA-Pre. Agent wasn't very nice, and they took
my c-pap case to run thru twice. Clear which was a trial at no cost was good but I didn't purchase it. It did save time at the beginning..

I’ve been a clear member since it started a few years ago. It has been great! Most airports have a regular line option and pre-check line option. Once you check in through the monitor you are taken to the front of security line, so you can save a significant amount of time at busy airports, or holiday travel.

I live in Seattle and sports stadiums also have clear lines, so we have used it a lot. If you are a Delta or United frequent flier, they offer special pricing. American Express platinum also pays $179 a year as a member benefit if you charge it.

They also store vaccine records, so very easy to connect information to airlines for flights, if going out of the country.

While this program is run by Clear, it is not Clear. There is no Precheck option, this will move you to the front of the line for regular security only. At least that is what the initial press release said.
