What is the name of the restaurant you see in Pirates of the Caribbean?

Ok, I was wondering.....I kept thinking "Dreams, I was just there and there was no fried cheesecake, the only thing fried was the Monte Cristo" LOL

Yeah- we were there last February and it wasn't on the menu then. Hmm...:scratchin

Which is probably for the best- it sounds like a heart attack on a plate!:faint:

The menus database sorely is in need of updating. Perhaps we can enlist some locals to scour the menus and add what they find?

I might have to force myself over to the BB soon! I have been wanting to get to DLR for a few weeks, but a sick kitty has kept me home :sad1: I hope next week will be better and I will try to get a menu pic for you guys.

When I went to BB on my last trip, I made newbie mistakes. Ie not getting waterside seating, not looking at menus beforehand and I was by myself so that kinda sucked.

If I ever go on a solo trip again, I probably wouldn't drop by, I think it's very much a 2 person + place to go.

Can you make reservations and can you make them for the tables by the water.
Thanks
VBmom

yes, make yourself a PS by calling Disney Dining and then check in early and request waterside. We had to wait an extra 20 min. or so but we were fine with it. Sometimes the host/hostess will try to talk you out of it but the wait is worth it. :)

I don't believe they have the Monte Cristo anymore? :confused3

Yes, you need to call Disney Dining and make a reservation. You can request a water table but they'll just tell you to show up early for your ressie and request one.

of course they do, I had it on the 7th of this month. It's on the lunch menu. :)

That menu is odd, it doesn't have the desserts listed either :confused3 I know a lot of unhappy campers if they really got rid of the Monte Cristo. Though not for me I think it looks icky.

Oh it's soooooooooo good...I thought it was going to be icky too but it's not. It is however huge and more than enough for 1 person. :)

The monte cristo is on the menu...and it probably will be for a long time! I love it, or did love it...I feel like it has changed. I hadn't had it for quite some time, a few years and then just had it this december and was very disappointed :(

The Monte Cristo is on the lunch menu only.
One can make a P.S.60 days out. I too recommend arriving early for one's p.s. so as to request a waterside table. At least 20 minutes, is good. My last trip, I arrived about a half hour early, so as to make that request, and in less than 10 minutes, I was seated, and by the water. That all worked out very nicely for me. I had really no problem, whatsoever dining by myself. A friend of mine, was suppose to visit DL. with me, however, was not able to go after all. No way, was I going to continue to wait to go to Dl. Hence, went by myself. I had a very nice time. One is not really alone, anyway, for you are surrounded by other people. I would love to have the entire park to myself. That would be awesome. Booking the entire park,is something one can do too.
