What is the most you have spent on a room at Disney?

Whew..those rates above are too rich for my blood! :rolleyes1

The most we ever paid was $189 at the Poly. December 2002 (i was part of the Disney Club back then). :wizard:

Once your kids are grown and have flown the coop, you might think differently. Mine is still "home" but other than feeding him, he's pretty much on his own. Makes a big difference in the budget :) Something to look forward to :goodvibes

I would say the most I've spent is $209 a night PLUS tax at the Polynesian. AP rate.

At the Swan, we spent $161 a night plus tax - again, an AP rate.

$105 a night for CBR

We've been lucky when we stayed at CR 12th floor Tower we paid $99 a night (old FL resident special)

When we staed at BWV a DVC member gave up their points as a gift for the trip

We've also stayed at the Swan and Dolphin for under $100 a night (old FL resident stays)

Poly never interested us neither did GF or AKL I may try to swing a stay for X-Mas at WL, but probably won't because of the $99 a night rate for SoG unless I get a code to bring it waaaaay down (yep they upposed their rates AND added parking costs)

Last October we had to pay rack rate for the night before our 5+2 DreamMaker Package started. So, $383.56 was the most I've ever paid for a room at Disney. It was for a Garden View Room at the Poly.

It really gave me sticker shock because for our previous Poly stays (GV):
* 2000 my in-laws paid for the entire trip (yes, they are wonderful!)
* 2001 we got a $179/night AP discount rate
* 2002 we got a $184/night General discount rate
* 2003 we got the 4+3 FairyTale Package
* 2004 we got the 5+2 DreamMaker Package

:earseek: $365 a night for GV at the GF starting Friday, hoping for an upgrade! Send mea all that pixie dust, it's DD's 8th birthday!

Currently booked at CR Tower Room for $381 (AAA rate) a night for this October. Considering my last stay was at Pop for $49 a night (AP) that is a big jump. Luckily its only 2 nights and hopefully AP codes will come out, that's what I promised DH! It is for my son's 11th birthday and we are surprising him. They say treat your children right because they take care of you in your old age!

Well, I paid $189 per night at Port Orleans during spring break, 2001, and that was before taxes! (We did pay the extra $15 for the trundle) I can't believe we paid that much!

We will be paying $358 per night this Xmas, for Poly concierge. That's hard for me to swallow, too!

Did this thread cause anyone else to have shortness of breath?

Were still pretty young but the most we have spent per night will be on our upcoming WDW honeymoon! $240/night, thats including tax, for a standard AKL Savannah room.

I think the most we will ever be willing to spend per night for a place that is not all inclusive is $300. Even if we had the extra money lying around we don't spend enough time in our room to justify the extra expense. Obviously honeymoon trips that does not apply to. ;)

The most I paid was $199/night at the CR garden wing during spring break. I did like the location of the CR, but I liked the Swan/Dolphin better, especially their rates of $149/$129. I hope they bring those discounted rates back.

$160 @ POR. More than I paid to stay at AKL after I found out about discount codes :confused3

We paid 300 . for the YC along time ago . Remember that not only that you cant take it with you ,but someone else will spend it. :goodvibes

I currently have 2nights booked std at WL for Aug for $199plus tax ea night
hoping to change that

TOO Much! :teeth:

The most we have ever spent on one trip for room only was probably the 2BR at BWV - Rack Rate for 10 nights I think it was around $625 per night! :headache:

It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to get a room at all...much less a 2BR at the BWV.
